   We dine here a couple of times a year and are always impressed. I think they were overwhelmed this night and no one came over for a half hour. In fact it took my complaining to our waitress after she went to the table next to us who came in after us. It took another waiter to intervene. He gave us excellent service and comped our bottle of wine.

   We have been to the restaurant several times and enjoy meeting friends for drinks in the bar at the back. The staff are very friendly. On this occasion we were going for valentines dinner with two other couples. We booked a few weeks in advance and requested a table downstairs near the fireplace. The night of, we planned to meet early with a different couple for a pre-dinner drink in the bar before our reservation. We had a great time. When it was time to go to our table we were led upstairs to a very crowded room where we waited a long time for anyone to greet us and give us menus, longer still to put in a drink order. One of the men in the party went down to ask why we weren’t seated downstairs and to see if we could be moved. The man he spoke to (manager?) said that someone had phoned us in advance to say we would be upstairs, but they had not. After waiting a long time for the food to arrive the same person went back down to see what the delay was, and that same manager insisted rudely that we had not been waiting long, that we had been late for our reservation- going to the table at 7:35 for our 7:30 reservation-and then he said “typical Irish, in the bar drinking”. We realize that a night like that is going to be crowded. We also realize that lots of customers likely requested a table near the fireplace and that the food service might be a bit slower than a regular night. The food was good, but the attitude of the manager was so offensive that if not for a great staff I would give no stars

   Valentine's dinner became a luncheon event. We were accommodated and all went well. We always enjoy Le Ferme.

   Terrible service, but the ambiance is nice, especially when the piano player is there. The food is not exceptional, but some dishes, like the soufflé and escargot are consistently very good.

   Service was really slow and the French onion soup was served warm, not hot, although the soup temperature was remedied. I wanted a special brunch and unfortunately the lag time was distracting.

   Well worth the drive from Clarksburg to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. First time to this restaurant. Great food, great ambiance, good location with plenty of parking -- and considering the quality of the food and the whole experience, it was also a good value. I look forward to my next visit.

    It was a very nice place with good food. Though I think my group and I were the youngest people there (late 30’s early 40’s). Service was ok.
