La Fondue is located in the center of Saratoga Village on Big Basin Way at the corner of 4th Street. The restaurant’s interior reflects a new interpretation of European design that avoids cliché interpretations. La Fondue offers a unique experience serving over 50 types of fondues served tableside. We offer a “chill out” dining experience, a little bit glamorous, a little bit classic. Try our Wild Game, Kobe Flat-Iron, or Private Reserve Filet Mignon cooked in one of our four cooking methods. La Fondue is my favorite restaurant, period. And having lived on three continents and travelled the world, that means a lot. It is a great experience for a romantic date and the food is amazing. It seems counter intuitive to cook your own food, but it adds a lot of fun, and you can make it exactly how you like it. The choices are great and the sides are perfect. The only complaint is that I need a stretcher when I leave!! LOL!

Our family has been coming here for over 20 years, and it holds a lot of nostalgia for us. Although it's become pricier, which means we don’t visit as often as we used to, it’s still a great choice for a family dinner. You really can’t go wrong with cheese, grilled meats, and chocolate!

We went for the 4-course 'Fondue Feast' on Friday night, and it was amazing! With three of us dining, each guest chose three items, giving us the chance to share and try a lot different options. The menu offered so many unique and exciting choices—from Teriyaki Sirloin and Australian Lamb to Day Boat Scallops and Louisiana Alligator. Every bite was an adventure! Our server, Alex, was fantastic—attentive and knowledgeable, making the experience even better. The portions were just right, and cooking everything in the flavorful broths added an extra layer of deliciousness. We left feeling full, happy, and already planning our next visit to try even more of the menu. Highly recommend!

The salads, cheese and chicolate fondue were wonderful. However the mahi mahi was fishy tasting and the filet mignon was gamey.

La Fondue charges $50pp for no shows. My party of 8 showed up at 4:57pm for a 5pm reservation. I received a message from Open Table this morning that La Fondue marked my party as N0 SHOWS. Attached receipt clearly shows the date we were there. My reservation specifically states two complimentary bottles of wine and 50% off cocktails from 5pm to 6pm. La Fondue did not honor. I showed the manager on duty the reservation specifics. She said that after talking to the GM who was not there that night that they would not honor the drinks because it was a mistake by Open Table. Copy of receipt shows a single bottle of red wine at $0 that we DID NOT RECEIVE. Food was fine but CUSTOMER SERVICE at a pricey restaurants MATTERS. I had the offer in writing--Open Table on behalf of La Fondue--and the restaurant would not honor it. How bad is that??? With so many other options for dining options, don't waste your time on this place.

I booked a special experience for my friend's 50th - "La Romantique" - but they did not seem to have that in their books or maybe it was not communicated to the server? I don't know, but instead of the "$199 for 2", with complementary drinks, we paid $50 more than planned, and were not offered anything complementary to drink - and instead paid for a cocktail. As I didn't want to ruin the experience for him, I just went ahead and paid for it - I have contacted them and am waiting a response - if I receive one, I will revise this post, but "beware", I guess! It was a really fun experience and the food was super yummy... but it is already expensive and having to pay $50 more (costs, PLUS extra tip due to higher bill!) was disappointing.

Used to love coming here but things have changed. Chef salad as an example, used to have finely chopped up items in even squares, now unevenly cut 2 cherry tomatoes and 2 slices of cucumber in different shapes come in the salad. We got the Cajun Cheddar cheese, and it just seems like the flavor was lacking in it this time. So for wanting a quick fondue, it worked, but I don’t think it’s a place you come for a special meal anymore.
