Philly's, "the cuisine master", is the founder of La Fortuna Bar and Restaurant

Connecticut State and Italian food go hand-in-hand, like spaghetti and meatballs. In the late 18th thru the early 20th centuries, A lot of Albanian’s immigrated to Italy for many year’s where they have gotten tremendous experience in Italian Cuisine. Later they flocked Italy to the USA looking for opportunities in the New World, and brought their culinary traditions along with them to neighborhoods that later became Little Italy and Hell's Kitchen. Philly's the owner of La Fortuna Bar and Restaurant she is one of them.

    Food and service are always excellent. Large portions and always served hot. Great variety of entrees and every one is delicious. I strongly recommend la fortuna. One of my favorites.

    As always, the food was fantastic. Their service was excellent. This is my favorite restaurant.

    The food was exceptional as usual. The spaghetti and meatballs tasted phenomenal, and the size was enormous.

    We had three classic Italian dishes all prepared well with fresh ingredients. The portions were very big we have lunch for tomorrow. For a snowy night the restaurant and bar were full.
