At La Française Bistrot, we bring Family back to the Family ski town, by being one of the only family-operated businesses in Summit County. From father, mother, daughter and son-in-law, we share the best of what our family loves and cherishes: good food, good wine and a good time.
We do limit our seating times to 1h30mins for parties of 2, 1h45mins for 3-4 people and 2 hours for larger parties. If you expect your seating time to be longer, please make your reservation for later time slots so that everyone gets to enjoy our restaurant without being rushed!

We have a 15-minute grace period & charge $10/person for no-shows or day of cancellations. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we no longer accept online reservations for parties of 8 or more. Please call the restaurant to book for larger groups.

    We felt lucky to get a reservation here on Friday night before Christmas. It is a quaint bistro with probably just 10ish tables. Food was incredible! We shared the duck fat fries, broiled mussels and veal. Next time I want to try the duck confit. Had breakfast and lunch at their next door bakery the following day. All was so very good!!

    This was hands down the best dining experience we had in Breckinridge. The food was absolutely amazing. The best coq au vin I’ve ever had. The service was also amazing and we had a wonderful time!

    A Hidden Gem in Breck! One of our absolute favorite spots in Breckenridge! While many people know their fantastic bakery next door — perfect for breakfast or a grab-and-go pastries / sandwich — the restaurant itself remains a hidden gem. Whether you're a local or visiting, it’s a must-try. The restaurant offers a cozy, authentic French experience, and part of what makes it so special is the warm, welcoming owners who run both the front and back of house. Their friendliness and attention to detail are a big part of why we keep coming back. The food? Absolutely delicious — every dish reflects care, quality, and incredible flavors. We highly recommend giving this spot a try. You won’t regret it!

    The wonderful family of staff took incredible care of our party. Sharing favorite menu items and finding the perfect wines to pair with our meal. We ate family style and got to taste quite a few dishes. Everything was outstanding with stand out ovations for the lamb (sat night special with shallot Demi glacé), Branzino & the pavlova desert. Can’t wait to head there on a Monday for the coq a vin.

    Love this “little piece of France “  in our own backyard! Small quaint restaurant with a true European French dining experience right down to the French owners. Always a wonderful evening out and fantastic food!

    I got the Tournedos Rossini and it was every bit delicious as the photo I saw that brought me in. The demi-glace was exceptional as well as the service. We loved our dining experience and will be back. The high-top table was a little bright for late night so we’ll probably sit at a standard table next time.
