Housed in Chicago’s Belle Époque building, the unique Art Nouveau-inspired space honors the iconic building’s legacy while providing guests with a one-of-a-kind atmosphere and menu. La Grande Boucherie blends the ambiance of an indulgent steakhouse with a refined Parisian brasserie charm, and fuses traditional French cuisine with Chicago’s River North culinary heritage. The two-story restaurant boasts custom curved stained-glass windows overlooking the bustling streets of Chicago.               Impeccable service! Food was very good and the restaurant was gorgeous. I did appreciate that it wasn’t extremely loud where we were seated and had the pleasure of a window seat as well. Very much enjoyed the dining experience!

              Even though the tables are really close to each other, I mean almost shoulder to shoulder, the experience wast great, the service was on point and the food was awesome. I'll be coming back for sure!

              The restaurant is amazing. The food and drinks are memorable. You walk in and you feel you are in Paris. The service was outstanding. This is a wonderful place for memories. We had the duck and the pork and both were presented elegantly. The flavors were deep. The cheesecake was so good. Dense and rich.

              I had a great time here! The food was solid but the drinks and ambiance was even better! Definitely coming back for the Steak and Frites!

              It was all great. The wait staff was so professional. Our only challenge was checking in for our reservations; my name is Beth Kljajic and my husbands name is Ray Kljajic. I was rudely told I had no reservation; had to show her my Opentable email. She said the reservation was in Ray’s name not mine? First time I’ve ever had a problem with an Opentable reservation. I stood on one foot, surgery boot on the other, arguing with her that it was my reservation. Not representative of all the great staffing and service we experienced.

              We had high expectations from reviews, however we were so disappointed with our meal. The entire meal was average at best. We had standard French food items, such as French onion soup, and Lobster Soup. The cheese plate had a lovely display, however, it was average as well as the main menu items. We will not return.
