Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House. The restaurant is built in elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style, evoking the sense of optimism from the turn of the 20th century. The brasserie’s menu features both classic and modern French dishes, with focus on the meat program, raw bar and extravagant large-format meats, ideal for sharing and celebrating. Mahogany wood and glass partitions divide the gargantuan space to create intimate dining experiences. These pieces are adorned in gilded accents and uniquely curved arches inspired by the 20th-century Art Nouveau movement of Paris. The main dining room highlights a massive curved bar with a metal top imported from Paris, a signature piece of Boucherie.

                        What a great venue. The restaurant is beautiful. Our server, Christopher, was great. He made great recommendations, which were spot on. I had the coco van. The chicken was a little dry, but the sauce and mashed potatoes were amazing. My brother had the rib eye, which was really good.

                        We celebrated the Trump 2.0 inauguration at La Grande Boucherie. With Trump's inaugural address as background music, surrounded by Happy fellow MAGA's we drank fabulous French Champaigne and ate great food!

                        One of the best culinary experiences! Great French menu, all service members are friendly, knowledgeable and ready to make recommendations if asked. A beautiful experience for all senses! Highly recommended!

                        The venue is beyond exceptional. Service and food were both very, very good. The brunch menu provided something to satisfy our group of seven. Highly recommend this newer gem.

                        The ambiance of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful and charming, perfect for a special occasion or just enjoying a cozy atmosphere. However, the food was just okay, nothing extraordinary that stood out. Additionally, it felt a bit overpriced for the quality of the dishes. Worth it for the setting, but not so much for the food.

                        The location is stunning, but unfortunately, the food does not live up to expectations. The escargot was acceptable, yet it fell short of being noteworthy, especially when compared to the standard set by LPM in Miami, which is far superior. The Filet Mignon au Poivre was served cold, lacking a peppercorn crust, and accompanied by a gravy that tasted pre-packaged. While the quality of the meat was excellent and exceptionally tender, the overall experience was disappointing. I cannot recommend this restaurant, as there are superior dining options in DC that offer better value for money.

                        Upon entering, my party was looked up and down seeming for dress code. Table fine. Took longer than appropriate time for our table's serviceperson. We had to flag someone down. Service choppy. Expected more. Food just okay. Stunning building. It is a historic landmark. Not impressed.
