    Wonderful Peruvian restaurant! Extraordinary food, authentic, tasteful, beautiful arranged dishes. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Great Ambiente. Highly recommend to experience this restaurant.

    The food was incredible! That tomahawk steak was delicious, as were all of the appetizers. Our waiter was super knowledgeable and gave us great suggestions. We will definitely go back and bring friends!

    I visited La Mar in Bellevue for lunch with a friend. Given its high-end reputation, I wanted to try it for lunch first before committing to an expensive dinner. Ambiance: The place is beautifully decorated and pleasantly quiet during lunchtime, making for a relaxed dining experience. Service: Service was extremely attentive, sometimes a bit too much. Different staff members kept coming to clear plates and refill water glasses, which felt a little overbearing at times. This level of attention can be seen as either a pro or a con depending on your preference for privacy. Food: First Course: I had the Cabiche Clasico with fresh halibut. Initially chewy, the fish became tender and delicious after sitting in the acidic sauce for about 15 minutes. Second Course: I chose Pescado a lo Macho. The seafood was perfectly prepared with a flavorful sauce and delicious rice on the side. Even though I'm not a big fan of carbs, the rice was amazing. Overall: La Mar offers unique and flavorful food with great service. I think it's a solid restaurant and I'll definitely be back.

    Great food and service. Something different than anywhere else. Downside- the walk from parking garage elevator is long and out in the rain. And NO blue cheese olives for your martini. Pricey. I still plan on going back. A must go to.

    Really good food there. Not sure how authentic the Peruvian dishes are but everything we order was amazing. We sat at the lounge area and music was loud. The vibe was upbeat with lots of younger crowd.

    Just live it! Amazing service, the best in the greater Seattle area. The food was fantastic, we had an amazing time!

    Dined here for lunch on the first day they opened for lunch and was very impressed by food and level of service. Very welcoming and friendly. Parking was easy in the underground lot and included validation so a smooth experience.

    Great food, good vibes and a hovering bartender. On a first date and felt a little pressured to get orders in rather than enjoy the experience.

    We had an overall outstanding experience at La Mar. The food was excellent, incredible quality, fresh, and very interesting, new flavor combinations. The ambience was refined, lively, and unique. The pace the food came out was impeccable, and timely, without being overwhelmed by too many dishes at the same time. Support staff was swift, thorough, and friendly. Service needs a little more polish and personality for a restaurant of this quality and price point, however.
