La Nouvelle is the next story in our culinary journey by Michael Lugo. This opportunity to bring French Nouveau cuisine to our city has us so excited. Bringing to the helm Matthieu Landillon from the coastal city of Marseille, La Nouvelle allows us to explore classic French Bistro fare with an elevated edge.     What a beautiful night we had at La Nouvelle! We were greeted warmly from the moment we arrived and by happy, attentive staff. Every bite of food was incredible and beautifully presented. Amazing, very French menu. The feel of the place is elegant, artsy, romantic, and comfortable. I will not forget that dinner. Highly recommend!

    Fantastic brunch option for our ladies birthday celebration. Restaurant couldn’t have been nicer with a celebratory token from my friend’s birthday. Food was very tasty and arrived to a reasonable amount of time. Look forward to returning again soon.

    EXCELLENT meal, HIGHLY highly recommend. The patio had heaters which made for the perfect outdoor evening dining experience. If you’re looking for a relaxed high quality meal in a great atmosphere away from the busier areas, this is absolutely perfect.

    I’ve been blessed to have experienced fancy food and multiple countries and certainly all of the United States. I’m about 50 years old and in business we have nice fancy dinners all the time and about 2/3 the way through my meal tonight. I told my wife and children that this was the best me I’ve ever had in my life. It wasn’t posting or being silly. Ask for suggestions from the servers, Somalia, etc. I believe the food to be that fantastic.

    We had an amazing dinner to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday! The food was delicious and the service from Josh was amazing. A big thank you to everyone who made it a special night! We will be back!

    We sat on the porch which was bucolic. I was disappointed they don’t serve cocktails (I didn’t ask but it must be some sort of liquor licensing thing). The wine selection was indeed impressive, though, and fairly priced. The food was fantastic. My only complaint would be the staff person who vacuumed when we were eating (yes, that actually happened 🤣). Overall a good experience and would go back.

    Sarah can help with wine selection, the waiter can explain the food items and choices, the pace of service was good, and the ambiance is very nice. We went for lunch.

    The dinner was outstanding. We were on the porch. It was windy and a bit cool, but they had heaters and blankets. We liked that the tables were not cramped and we could have a nice talk. Occasionally we heard others laughing, but it wasn't annoying. We shared gourgettes and the pate trio for starters, and they were excellent. The server Alex offered extra costini for the pate, which was needed and appreciated. For dinner we shared an amazing bouillabaise. The seafood was fresh and the broth was delicious. Although the serving was for two, we couldn't finish it. Happy to take it home! We split an excellent creme brulee for dessert. Overall, the food was wonderful, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. If we lived closer, we would be regulars because there were so many amazing choices on the menu. Also should mention that while Alex was our server, there were others who stopped by to bring dishes and check on us. Everyone was friendly and helpful. A real gem of a place!
