Had a wonderful experience! I was on my own but the atmosphere was lovely so I didn’t feel anxious. The waiters were v friendly and attentive. Both my starter (arancini) & main (arrabiata) were delicious! A wonderful Italian in a lovely old building. Would def recommend!

We decided to celebrate one of our group's birthdays. Our meal was divine, 2 ordered sea bass, 2 chicken and mushroom and 1 lasagne. With tirimisu and panna cotta to finish. I would have put 5 stars for everything but after being asked on food allergies I asked for my meal of sea bass to be cooked tomato free. When I received the meal it had cooked cherry tomatoes on top!!. I immediately gave them to another person on the table. 4 of the 5 plates were cold, the lasagne was sizzling. I did mention these to the lovely waitress who immediately apologised. It was a shame because we really enjoyed the meal, and the service was exemplary. We try a different restaurant every couple of months and would recommend the meals here except for the 2 items mentioned. One of which could have made me ill, and we all commented on the fact that it was the last thing that I said to the waiter when he took our order. Absolutely chilled lunchtime and the ambience was perfect.

Gave us a choice to sit upstairs or downstairs as soon as we arrived. We checked out upstairs but decided the atmosphere was better downstairs as there were more diners in that area.Drinks were offered straight away which arrived quickly.Starters and mains order taken efficiently and the rest of the the evening went just as well. All the food was first class and would highly recommend.

Our first time trying this restaurant, and it definitely won’t be the last. The customer service was amazing, and the food was even better—10/10 across the board. I highly recommend this place.

Table of 5 for my birthday meal the service was excellent from the friendly staff from start to finish Food was lovely exactly as described on the menu Highly recommend the ‘Pollo Saltibocca’ which I had 😋 Will definitely be going back

I booked the restaurant after searching on Trip advisor. All 6 of us enjoyed the food and had a good night. Staff friendly and helpful. We went for a drink after the meal and as we were leaving the pub my sister realised she didn't have her handbag. She went back to the restaurant to see if she had left. It was closed but the 2 people doing a thorough clean down opened up so she could have a look for her bag. One of the staff rang the owner who confirmed he had found the bag and put it in the safe . He came back to open the safe then offered my sister and her husband a lift .

Very poor service - had to wait 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken. We placed our food order at the same time. 45 minutes later we still hadn’t received any food (although those who had ordered after us had received food). When questioned was told there was a glitch with the ordering system. The head of house was more interested in trying to be the funny man with the other customers than making sure everyone had received their food. We didn’t stay around for the food as we were past it by then. Very disappointed
