Located on the 5th floor of the Austin Proper Hotel, La Piscina Ceviches & Fajitas is a convivial poolside restaurant and bar serving Texas-inspired Mexican cuisine. The vibrant, open space overlooks the downtown Austin bustle as groups convene over family-style platters, ceviches and table-top sizzling fajitas, with fresh seafood grilled over a wood fire and house-made tortillas from an open comal. The bar provides an accompanying selection of frozen margaritas, native Mexican spirits, small-batch tequila and mezcal as well as an assortment of outdoor-friendly snacks.

The most delicious and fresh food! It was such a relaxing vibe and everyone was so incredibly polite. Shoutout to our waiter Adam! He was wonderful and recommended the best food!! Ask for him when you make a reservation!! He is awesome!

Our experience was amazing!!! We brought our 3 yer old son which sometimes can be difficult and our server was so sweet and great towards us. Food and drinks AMAZING! I wish I could remember his name but he was so great.

La Piscina is my all time fave Austin eatery. 10/10 across the board every time. Took my mom there for her first time (she's picky) and she loved it. The interior design is super aesthetic yet comfortable and we love that.

Been to la piscina more times than I can count and never once had a bad experience. This time to service was horrible. Waited for 45 minutes before someone came to take our order even after asking for a server to come several times. Food we ordered never arrived. This is not to say we wont be coming back again, but this time we were definitely dissatisfied.

I’ve been here 3 times, once was good, but the other two were subpar. Our service this time was terrible, which is unfortunate because it ruined the experience quite a bit. Took almost 45 minutes to get even an appetizer ordered. The tortillas are fresh and yummy along with the salsas and chips but our fajitas did not impress. Ambience is amazing though and we love their drinks.
