                                                                                                                Disappointed with both the food quality and service. The sangria was good and the tomato soup, but my friend ordered a panini and asked for prosciutto to be added - the prosciutto was cut in big chunks and was so chewy she shouldn't event it eat. We thought it would be thinly sliced. In any case, they took a little off our bill to compensate which we appreciated, but thought the whole experience was a bid odd.

                                                                                                                We know this restaurant well, and have recommended it but SADLY when we arrived there was a "Painting party" of about 20 people going on in the dining room and the noise was so loud, that we and our friends had no choice but to leave! The woman directing the painters was speaking into a microphone so it wasn't just people talking. A poor decision on management's part. So we didn't even dine there.

                                                                                                                A birthday lunch. Wonderful service! They surprised us with a. birthday cake. My salad with beets was delicious. My friends shrimp salad was also tasty but he didn't like the horseradish. Personal taste. We will definitely go back!

                                                                                                                Three of us met early one evening for wine and food. The ambiance was nice... Live music with a gentleman singing along to karaoke backing tracks, with the occasional tune played on his keyboard. However the food was terrible. We shared a plate of the prosciutto wrapped dates. These were burnt. My friend ordered the lobster bisque, which was inedible because it was way too salty (and I like salty soups, but this was ruined). We mentioned this to the waiter, who said other customers had complained about the saltiness of the soup also. Two of us ordered the beef rib sliders, which were dry and flavorless. We had to order a side of BBQ sauce just to be able to choke them down. Cute place with great potential, but stay clear of the food. Go for a glass of wine or two.

                                                                                                                Very charming bistro, excellent service, delicious & beautifully presented food. The highly recommended truffle French fries were tasty, but not crispy at all. Would have been better served hotter & crispy. French onion soup was delicious with the perfect amount of melted cheese. Filet cooked perfectly. Scallops -delicious without the horrible taste of the preservative sodium tripolyphosphate so prevalent among other restaurants. Will definitely go again when in town. Oh! Desserts were phenomenal also!

                                                                                                                I met lifelong friends at La Rue Bistro for the very first time. We instantly fell in love with everything - food, wine, atmosphere, location - everything! It was so refreshing to dine somewhere where all aspects were perfect. We all agree that this is a place we will frequent and recommend of everyone!

                                                                                                                Would not recommend. Made a reservation for 8:30 pm. Showed up on time. Walked in. Was greeted by someone who worked there. He said sit any where you would like. The next words out of his mouth were the kitchen is closed. If there going to close the kitchen at 8:30pm on a Saturday night they should not be taking reservations that late. They should also mention that somewhere on open table and there website.

                                                                                                                Last minute decision for dinner -- neighborhood restaurant. Off season so pretty empty. Ordered "Meet Me In St. Louis Ribs" - although the sauce on top was warm, ribs were cold. Sent back - I am sure they microwaved it. On recommendation of owner, ordered the Reuben sandwich -- just okay. Kind of skimpy on the meat. IF we returned we would order something different!
