La Rueda is celebrating 40 years of bringing Spain to London!!!

Located in the heart of Clapham. As one of the area’s longest-running Spanish tapas spots, we're marking the occasion with a brand-new Spring menu crafted by our chef Diego, all the way from Madrid.
Whether you're a regular or a newcomer, you’ll feel transported to a cozy corner of Spain.

Went there to celebrate my birthday. We ordered paella.and though it tasted good, it was very salty. The service was poor. It was a busy Friday evening and only three waiters. It was difficult to grab thei attention to order food and drinks. At least the atmosphere was good.

Had a nice Valentine’s night, it was quite busy and had to wait about 20mins for our table. Food was good nothing amazing but tasty. Service was a bit slow due to the place being fully booked. Drinks were nice well made. Overall was a good experience, would try again on a quieter night.

Table booked for 18:30, took 3hrs for us all to be served all our course ,which I think was a ploy to make us buy more drinks whilst we waited.. Food portions were small.. Service really slow .. And we went for a Christmas set meal which wasn’t out of the ordinary on the day?

Delicious food and fantastic service as always. Disappointed to see that the aubergine is off the menu as this was my favourite vegetarian option! We ordered pretty much everything on the menu and it was all excellent. Great choice of wine too! Thank you to the staff for looking after us so well, especially as we weren't the only large group present.

La Rueda has recently had an overhaul and it is working so well. The food was absolutely superb. The service is great, with staff checking all is well without being intrusive. Some subtle Christmas lights are up, giving a lovely atmosphere. It has long been one of my favourite restaurants, but has gone right to the top of my list now. Highly recommended.
