    Chinese wine production has very much landed and, with a wave of innovative second generation winemakers, is emerging as a unique and varied wine-making tradition. With acreage under vine rivalling that of France, from the semi-arid plains of Xinjiang in the west to the mountains and valleys of Ningxia in the central north (the Chinese Bordeaux). Join us Wednesday April 2 as we pull corks from across the Middle Kingdom, ably assisted and guided by Hamish Williams of Periphery Wine Imports. Eight course Feed Me menu with matching wines $99pp.

    Small portion size for the price, food itself was very tasty. Soft tofu dish is the winner, good drink menu. great spot for a hangout with not too much noise. Toilet needs a little update or cleaning.

    Wonderful Valentine's set menu! Particularly enjoyed the chicken sanga and return of the Tonka bean parfait (our all-time favourite dessert) 😋 Looking forward to our next visit!

    Consistently a fantastic experience, nothing to fault. Service was spot on, food was perfectly balanced. Particularly enjoyed the return of the OG beef tartare. A favourite for a reason- a true Carlton gem!

    Loved Lagoon Dining! Strikes the right balance between being absolutely delicious and interesting! Everything tasted absolutely amazing. So hard to pick a favourite dish, but if I had to, it would be pickled cucumbers. Our waiter/server was the nicest, most friendly guy who made our dinner experience beautiful. I highly recommend Lagoon Dining to anyone who appreciates great food, friendly service and terrific energy in a restaurant.

    Some of the best service we experienced while in Melbourne. In fact everyone we interacted with (chefs too) were very friendly and positive. Excellent wine and drinks list. The food is tasty and creative. Overall a really cool restaurant with a great atmosphere.

    The dishes were innovative and extremely delicious - so many flavours. Service was fantastic. Wines are overpriced but that is everywhere these days. Will definitely return for more amazing food.

    We were a party of four friends. It was a most enjoyable evening - excellent food (especially the lamb chops and the barramundi). We do recommend Lagoon to our friends - no one will be disappointed with their meal here!
