Full Story on Yelp RUINED the birthday brunch We had a reservation for a party of 10 on a Sunday. I called the restaurant at 1:50 PM on Saturday to ask if I can bring in a cake to store for the following day. The gentleman that answered the phone said that they would be able to store it,I reconfirmed that the reservation is set for the next day. Once I got the green light,I quickly stopped by a bakery,drove straight to the restaurant, one less thing to worry about. The brunch was supposed to be a surprise, so dropping off the cake would’ve saved me time for the cake surprise the following day. When I attempted to drop it off, the hostess mentioned that they don’t store cakes…I was thrown off because the person on the phone said it was ok 15 minutes ago?She then grabbed a manager,which happened to be the Chef. The “chef” basically said, They don’t store cakes anymore since they had an incident and it’s for precaution purposes. For the inconvenience, he would take care of some appetizers for us. I completely understand; allergies, Karen’s, etc… Mind you, I kept my composure, ok cool.. that doesn’t change the fact that I wasted 45 minutes with this errand since I was told I was able to bring the cake by the person who answered the phone. The following day, we check in to our reservation, got sat 15 minutes early, perfect! The hostess directed us to our table while I have the cake on my hand. You know, the cake that was supposed to be a surprise which failed since I had to walk in with it? I asked the hostess once again if she can put in the back and bring it out once we are done.. Same answer, couldn’t store it. In my mind I was like.. but the answer from yesterday was that you couldn’t store overnight? Regardless, maybe not the fridge, but at this point a counter top at the bar, a corner in the kitchen, etc. A minute later, the “chef” comes storming to our table!! There was no introduction on his behalf or greeting, just pointed directly at me, verbally rais..

Service was very slow and our reservations were at 1015. The place was empty, no excuse.

The restaurant is classy and elegant. It was the perfect venue for our Young Adult's birthday dinner. The music is the perfect volume where you can hear it, but still have a conversation without yelling. The home made tortillas are delicious. The portions are perfect and the restaurant interior and exterior remind me of an upscale Las Vegas restaurant.

The ambience stood out immediately just walking up to the restaurant, very nice. We had the guacamole appetizer and it was good but a little disappointing they couldn’t make a version without cilantro for my wife since she’s allergic - this was surprising given the cost of the food (most other places offer this small accommodation or an alternative). Ordered the tomahawk to split with the table. Very good, juicy steak and they come out and light it on fire which is cool. While it was flavorful, not sure it’s worth the $175 price tag. Drinks were ok. I ordered a smoked cantarito - nothing special in terms of flavor but it was fine. The service was fine. Staff was friendly. I felt there were some opportunities missed during the service where we had finished drinks and the waiters could have easily convinced us to get another drink but they never asked. Overall service was fine and food was decent for a restaurant but again for the price tag of this place, not the level of food or service that I would expect. I would go back if someone wanted to try it but not sure I would add this my recommendation list.

Excited to try this place and was recommend by a friend so we took our son there for his birthday. The guacamole with chips, calamari were good compared to our plates. Enchiladas de mole not good, Lagos golden chicken it was ok. Sea bass was good ( I will say) also the mar y tierra my son liked. Service was not good, waiter came by only twice if we needed anything. The guy picking up the plates from the table came more than our waiter. We ordered a refill on wine and had to ask twice for it. After dinner we asked for the dessert menu and 3 coffees. When the waiter came to bring our coffee he said it’s really hot I just made it. Guess what? It was lukewarm!!!!!! I’m not coming back. Terra wood grill in Yoruba Linda was so much better and cheaper than here for the same amount of people…8

The food and the service were excellent. The Chilean Sea Bass was amazing! We will definitely be coming back for that.
