The cuisine at Langdon Hall starts with looking out our kitchen windows. It is inspired by the seasons, wild produce growing in abundance on the property and the bounty of our kitchen gardens. Relationships have been built with our community farmers, foragers and artisans who hold similar beliefs of providing wholesome natural products that have been prepared with care and respect.

We create dishes with purpose, embraced with a story behind each relationship and provide a taste of the terroir of Langdon Hall. All the ingredients combined, create an experience like no other, so grand, so captivating that it is impossible to forget. As the seasons change, the menu changes to reflect the reaps of the harvest.

    The Winter House is an outdoor, heated restaurant where you can enjoy share-style plates, warm cocktails and more. The Winter House will be open Saturday, January 25th and Sunday, January 26th. Reservations are not required, but strongly recommended to secure your spot. We hope to see you this month!

Afternoon Tea is $95.00 plus taxes and gratuities, per person. This is a pre-paid event with limited space so don't delay booking for you and your friends!     The Winter House is so amazing and we go every time it is open. The food and it's presentation, the servers, the atmosphere are all a 10/10!! Looking forward to next time!! Dianne K

    Meeting friends at the Langdon Hall winter house was a lovely experience. The pavilion is beautiful and decorated very naturally. There were a number of fire tables and a fireplace to keep guests warm. We had a light meal and lovely drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere and service.

    Service was very poor and we were left for over half of our time there with dirty dishes, no water and empty drinks. Cocktails were weak and just okay. Mulled wine was excellent! The food was incredible and the ambiance was unmatched.

    We went to the Winter House for the first time and it was fabulous! The ambiance was 10/10 as was the service and food! Dress warm as it’s chilly. They do have heaters and blankets on entry but it can still be chilly. But worth every chill!

    Bundle up, it’s cold outside. Cozy inside. Blankets and heaters to keep to toasty. Mulled wine to warm you up. Cheers!

    Lovely Afternoon Holiday Tea experience. Was a lovely surprise to receive a professional photo. We were in the room beside where the musician was playing. The volume level in our room was perfect. I do feel it would have been too loud in the room that the musician was in however.

    Attended afternoon tea. I am a regular client of Langdon Hall and have certain expectations. The rooms were lack lustre. 1 tree n the main room- only about 5ft high so in pictures it got hidden. The other room had a single wreath on the wall. Not anywhere close to the main house experience. The presentation of the three tier plates was nice, but the actual effort to plate the food the way Langdon Hall usually does was not there/ in fact no plating at all. Put a sprig of parsley if nothing else. The scones were dry and two of the three of us had scones with a burnt bottom. The salmon sandwich made with the rolled crepe was soggy and unpleasant. The turkey had an odd taste. The cream puff squirt out all over the table where the filling had not properly set. Th gingerbread men were very hard. Overall, an unpleasant afternoon. Although service was great…. thankfully!!!!!
