Lapeer is a chef inspired Steak and Seafood concept with a boutique coastal vibe setting located in the heart of the Historic downtown Alpharetta.

The menu will include premium cuts of beef including prime, certified Angus, America Wagyu and reserved dry aged steaks. Our seasonal approach will have a mixture of classic, yet innovative creations as well as some steakhouse staples. We source our fresh seafood and day boat fish from the gulf and east coast and offer a regular rotating selection of fresh oysters.

A well balanced by the glass list with a focus on new world varietals. An extensive reserve list driven by full bodied California cabs and red blends, backed with a solid mix of old world Italian and French varietals.

Steaks were great. Lobster and Shrimp risotto was delicious. Loved the mushrooms and broccolini. Calamari’s was just okay. Didn’t understand it being served with greens on top. Drinks are priced pretty high. Also don’t charge extra for blue cheese stuffed olives in a martini.

The drinks were not great- did not have a specific type of bourbon one of our guests wanted, Glenn Levitt. So he decided on an old fashioned, which was not great. The food was just okay, nothing great. Then we were told that there was another reservation waiting for our table and we had to pay our check, without dessert or coffee. Would not recommend this place, we have dined here three times, hoping it would be a better experience…just to be disappointed again. They do have a very cool bar area…

Fantastic restaurant with incredible service. Highly recommend the shrimp toast and the filet mignon.

I took my wife here for her birthday and we were not disappointed. Excellent service amazing food and great cocktails. We will become regulars.

Christmas Eve with family! Service was great, food was solid. Only issue was soggy bun on burger.

We learned of this restaurant from Eater as we were searching for a place to go for our anniversary that was not in downtown Atlanta and that we hadn’t been to before. We were pleasantly surprised! The exterior is unassuming but once inside, there was a warm and lively ambiance with lots of laughter, chatter and warm lighting. Our server, Errol, was superb! He was friendly, welcoming, personable and engaging. He made suggestions and gave advice. He exemplified ALL of the qualities one would want in someone who is in the service industry. The food selections were delectable …beginning with the warm sesame rolls, fresh raw oysters, calamari like none I’ve had before with togarashi spice, crispy whole Bronzino with fingerlings that melts in your mouth’ Delmonico ribeye cooked to perfection, frites royale, roasted mushrooms and a currant cake for dessert courtesy of Errol. The cocktails we chose were flavorful and prepared by a talented mixologist…peychauds plane, sidecar, the lady in orange, passenger princess. I highly recommend Lapeer and will definitely return. My only complaint is that it was chilly in the extended portion of the restaurant where we were seated. We requested alternative seating but the hostess had difficulty arranging this request for some reason. I’m glad she did because we would not have met Errol.
