   We were meeting for a pre-show drinks and meal with family. The restaurant is located a block from the venue and has valet parking for dinner and the show. We met early for drinks at the bar. It was happy hour and the bar was packed. When it came time to be seated, we were immediately taken to our table and Ashley, our server for the evening, came to introduce herself and take drink orders. Even though the restaurant was busy, service flowed at a reasonable pace. We ordered drinks, appetizers and a dozen oysters. The restaurant was out of the oysters that were listed on the menu. We prefer to know what oysters we're eating so we asked Ashley to ask the kitchen the name of the replacement oysters. She came back from the kitchen with a taste profile, rather than a name, for the replacement oysters. We ordered them anyway and found that they varied a bit from the flavor profile provided, but were satisfying, nonetheless. Our main courses all came out timely and done as requested. All but one were very flavorful and the accompaniments helped elevate the dishes. One of the dishes was a full salad with chicken as the protein. The chicken on the salad was the only disappointment. It was dry and chewy. That was the only negative out of the 6 meals. Ashley was on top of our service all evening. She made the evening enjoyable. Unfortunately, we were not able to sample desserts due to having to leave for the venue. This restaurant is well located, has a great menu and provides great service. We would recommend it for any occasion.

   Our waiter, Doug, was wonderful. He had a fun personality and he made great recommendations and took very good care of us. The restaurant is lovely and the food was outstanding.

   We had a great dinner at Larkin’s last night. Food was tasty, cocktails and wine were perfect and the service was great! We had an awesome dining experience!

   We chose Larkin’s expecting an upscale dining experience, what we got was a terrible patio seating and was cramped, loud and the opposite of upscale sitting on patio chairs looking at traffic drive by. My wife’s Filet was under cooked and didn’t have flavor you would expect from a pricey piece of meat. I had the Pork Chop which was their one good thing provided in the meal. Feedback, if you’re trying Larkins don’t sit on the Patio… it’s not even close to what they say they offer in fine dining. Overall it wasn’t worth the money we spent and we were not satisfied

   The appetizer of deviled eggs were very good. Our steaks were over cooked and had no flavor . The pork tenderloin was good but the pimento cheese grits were very dry. We enjoyed the Brussel sprouts and lobster Mac and cheese.

    Our waiter was exceptional. We ordered the special which was a ribeye. It didn’t come as ordered and was pretty much tasteless. It’s a big disappointment on the amount of money that was spent and had a large group. This was not a good experience, and even my customers said it was the average dinner
