LaSalle Kitchen & Tavern is located on the Third Floor of LaSalle Grill. Join us, Pull up a chair and take your time to review our drinks menu. This could take a while, since we offer 120 whiskeys and scotches, dozens of craft brews, wines, and craft cocktails. Our selection is unparalleled, so tap into our staff’s expertise to help you choose. Settle in for some civilized refreshment and a break from the ordinary.
You probably noticed that this isn’t a brand-new building. That’s no coincidence. In fact, our twenty-first-century establishment is housed in the oldest commercial structure in South Bend, built in 1868 as the Second St. Joseph Hotel. No fake historical patina here–like everything we do, this is the genuine article.
At LaSalle Kitchen Tavern we take food and drink service seriously so you can keep the focus on what matters: relaxing with friends over drinks and a meal.

                                                                                                        Our waiter Rob was great! He was attentive, friendly and professional! Food was delicious as well. Did not care for the singing entertainment in the other room however.

                                                                                                        Our food was delicious and the service exceptional. The chef came out to specifically address my gluten allergy and my waitress was knowledgeable and if she didn’t know the answer, she went and asked.

A combination of Winter Restaurant Weeks and trivia night had the restaurant busy, and Rob was still very attentive and gave excellent service and suggestions. He made our first experience there a wonderful one.

                                                                                                        We cant believe we’ve never been here! Very cool space and live music up close was great! Small menu but our table sampled a number of apps and entrees and everything was really good. We will be going again soon!

                                                                                                        We really liked the environment, but the band upstairs was super loud, which was weird considering so many people were just having dinner. Definitely need to turn down the amps on the live music, but the food and service was very good!
