Located in the historic Castle building in downtown Rochester, MN, Latitude 44 delivers an unparalleled atmosphere whether our guests are dining or enjoying an evening of cocktails in our comfortably appointed cocktail lounge.

It was an enchanted first date for us, thanks to the Valentine's atmosphere provided. We had a perfect time. Our server was amazing. Food was perfect (I had the filet-rare, she had the scallops). We weren't rushed (8:15 reservation-we left at 9:45). She agreed to a second date, and I thank the restaurant in part for that as well. We will definitely return often. Thank you, Latitude 44!!

Great Valentine's Day date. Staff was outstandingly attentive and smooth. Dinner and drinks were perfect. An enjoyable time that will entice us back with friends.

Our waiter Malcom was excellent. I appreciate the moderate level of music...we could hear each other and carry on our conversations. Also...I appreciate the special touches in the decorating...lovely!

Even with reservations and no one else waiting, we waited at the reception desk for over 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge we were standing there. Our server seemed nice but had little to no communication. Drinks are expensive, even though they are premixed concoctions, it took over 20 minutes to get them. Food was Ok, but I was expecting more from the high-priced menu.

We enjoyed our first visit as a part of restaurant week. James and the staff provided great service. Noise level was low even with music playing (one of us is hearing impaired so this is an important attribute to us). Food was yummy and we will be back!

Great scallops, jackfruit “crab” cakes very tasty. Special butterfinger and Oreo cheesecake was to die for, but I chipped a tooth on a piece of the topping! (Nothing critical, but might need a dental visit - tooth has been troublesome lately, and now I know why). We’ll be back to try other things on the menu (but the jumbo scallops will be hard to resist). Lobster Sammie was very good, some nice chunks (but not quite Smack Shack - which really isn’t fair as that is SS’s signature).
