Very disappointed in what happened on May 3. I had a reservation and was bringing a friend to try Lauriol Plaza which I had been to before and enjoyed. We waited in line for about 10 minutes then got to the hostess. We were then told it was a 30-40 minute wait even though we had a confirmed reservation! Never had that experience before. Did they overbook? What is the point of having a reservation if you then have to wait for that long to be seated? As a result, we left and my friend will never be back to try it. Management needs to do better and honor reservations the way all other restaurants do.

I've dined at Lauriol Plaza on several occasions. For this visit, the server was not customer friendly and lowered the overall experience.

The host was lost, sat us inside when we requested outside. She was so discombobulated I didn’t make a deal out of it. Our table was wobbly to the point it was obnoxious. The food was great as we remembered.

Service was quick, responsive and enthusiastic. Food is absolutely fine; not haute cuisine but very decent quality Tex-Mex especially for the price. Only snafu was that the table wasn’t ready - despite an Open Table reservation - so our group of 15 had to mill around the entrance for 10 minutes unnecessarily.

I’ve been coming here since the 90’s and they have been consistent with great food and service always. I always count on a great food and experience when visiting Lauriol Plaza.

The food was delicious the service was fair, however on my reservation I stated that we were there to celebrate a birthday and I was disappointed that no one sing happy birthday or at least brought a complementary dessert or acknowledge that we were there for a celebration at all.

Restaurant was very busy and had a nice atmosphere. The food was average at best. Our server was terrible. In a bad mood and just not very helpful. Very dirty restrooms.

Although this is a very large and busy place, the service is always prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. The salsa is very authentic (according to a Mexican friend of mine) and the chips are also home made, very thin and crispy. The main dishes are very large. The tres leches cake is really good!
