LAVO Los Angeles is a 250-seat coastal Italian restaurant designed for an unparalleled, year-round alfresco dining experience. The restaurant offers an elevated indoor and outdoor dining experience while boasting a spacious sun-drenched dining room with a retractable roof, operable windows, and luxurious Italian furnishings throughout.

The kitchen is helmed by Chef Ralph Scamardella, whose menu balances dishes inspired by coastal southern Italy and influenced by Southern California produce while paying homage to LAVO’s signature Italian classics and his Italian-American background.

The beverage program features dramatic iterations on the classics alongside bold signature drinks. LAVO’s robust wine program complements the restaurant’s Italian inspiration and West Coast locale, featuring a vast selection of Old-World wines, as well as wines from California’s iconic regions.

    Had reservation for 830 and made us wait one hr for seating, when asked they said almost rdy while others where being seated asked manager he set us right away, lots of tables open. Been here multiple times but this the first time they took this long

    The two hosts near the front entrance were terrible people with a horrible attitude 😒 we checked in 45 min before our resavations knowing we would be waiting but after 30 minutes in the bar area we noticed 4 tables not being used so we told them to sit us down in the bar area instead of main dining room and they said those tables were taking (since 45 min) not being used when then waited an extra 30 min till be became very upset and hungry so we asked for a manager and she asked us to sit in the bar area if we wanted to because those tables were available lol anyways the manger seats us at our main table and the service and food was fantastic Lesson to learn the first person representing your company, we'll make you or break you so choose wisely

    Went for my birthday dinner and it was amazing. The food was delicious and good portion for price. Server was so kind and attentive. Would definitely go back for special occasions. Parking a bit difficult so I’d recommend just doing valet.

    We waited nearly 40 minutes for our drinks, werent given silverware and couldnt get our server to pay attention to us to get it. She said she would validate our valet to make up for the issue but when we got outside it still cost full price. Seemed like a way to trick us into still tipping her. Food was okay and the aesthetic of the restaurant was good but no interest in returning.

    The food scene in LA has such stellar options that I know my expectations are always sky high when first visiting a new restaurant. LAVO was good, but not as spectacular as I’d hoped. Been waiting to go for awhile and it just didn’t kill it like most restaurants do. It didn’t leave me wanting to come back. It was far from bad… it was certainly good. Just not great.

    Table was too small. Asked for a bigger table and they said it was all reserved. Felt a bit crammed on the table we were sitting at. Especially because we had ordered a lot of food.
