This restaurant was very very very disappointing. We arrived at the time of our reservation and the hostess was scrambling to get our table ready. They had our table ready 10 minutes after our reserved time. The music was too too loud. And to top it all off, we told the server our son had an anaphylactic treenut allergy. She did inform the kitchen to make our table nut free. And then 2 starters arrived with nuts in them. Terrible. They could have caused an emergency if we were not careful and the manager did not even come to our table to apologize. Please do not visit this restaurant if you have a treenut allergy.

We had a wonderful experience at Laylak Oakville . The decor was so nicely done.The staff were always welcoming and helpful, making our visit even more enjoyable. Not to mention, the food was delicious! We will definitely be returning for more tasty meals.

The food was mediocre, but the service was downright terrible. The only thing this place has going for it is the interior, which is clearly designed to look good on Instagram. If you care about good food and proper service, avoid this place entirely. This was my first time here, and I was excited, but I’ll never be back. The waiter forgot one of our appetizer dishes, and when I brought it up as the rest of the table was receiving their main courses, he seemed annoyed. After that, he disappeared for the rest of our meal. There were only two large tables during lunch, and not one of the four staff members bothered to check on us—no refills on water, no asking how the food was, nothing. For a place that automatically adds a 20% gratuity for large parties, they don’t even meet the bare minimum. I had to hunt down staff just to get basic service. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration—this place isn’t worth it.
