Le Balcon is Montreal’s most exciting entertainment venue – the ideal place to experience talented artists in an intimate yet festive setting. The unique dinner-show format combines superb market cuisine with top-notch performances, resulting in a truly magical evening.

Every event night, Le Balcon serves a delicious seasonal menu by Kitchen Collectif.
The table d’hôte, prepared in Le Balcon’s kitchen, includes choices of two appetizers and three main courses – sublimely prepared fish, succulent meat or a delicious Italian-style vegetarian pasta dish. Dinner ends on a sweet note with an irresistible treat by Pâtisserie Crémy.

Please note that on event nights, the venue is accessed via the main entrance of St. James United Church, on Sainte-Catherine Street.

Advance payment may be required depending on the number of people in your party or the date of your reservation.

We really enjoyed our evening. The food was excellent and the band was fantastic. The night however was advertised as “soul & R&b” yet the majority of the music (esp the second half) was more contemporary. It was not really what we were expecting.

After entering through the front door of the Church, we were led through while there was a church meeting happening. The dinner and dance venue is in an area at the back of the church. It looks to be a good location for the dinner and live band. This definately is geared to an older demographic, and we felt about 10-15 years early for this type of gathering. We stayed for dinner, but left before the show, which hadn’t started within the 2 hours since we were seated. Dinner was good, and the service was very nice. Probably a good idea for the event coordinators to let potential guests of a younger affinity to be aware of the actual demographic that this appeals to. Considering it was about $170 for the two of us.

Thank you for your feedback. Le Balcon is a dinner and show concept. The price you paid also includes the show for 2 people. The show always starts after the meal at 8:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays and at 8:00 pm on Thursdays. Next time, we invite you to stay for the show. You will live the full experience of le Balcon. We look forward to seeing you again!

We had a great time at Le Balcon. The band was great, food was good for the type of venue. A unique and entertaining night.

What a blast! Great way to change it up with friends or significant other. Get ready to dance. ;) Food was good, our waitress Chantal was awesome. Wine selection is very small though. . We went on a Thursday for the motown band and completely enjoyed the experience. We will be going back!

Con's - Seating was in long rows, family style. Seating is set up to maximize revenue and not the experience, but that is a business decision by the ownership to keep costs affordable. Wine list is limited, so we drank cocktails at Cabaret prices of $10 for a one ounce pour. This was expected since I live in Old Montreal and go out weekly. Although it didn't bother me, one of our group didn't like exiting of everyone at once, for the next group attending the show. A little bit of a "cattle call". Pro's - Fun entertainment, great Montreal experience even for a local. Music was vibrant, location is great and dancing was encouraged. The food was better than expected and the price was right for the dinner and entertainment.

Excellent venue! Food was delicious, service was superb and entertainment was fantastic!! Our waitress, Chantel, made us feel very welcome. We danced and danced and had a fabulous time! Keep it up!!

My wife and I visited Montreal first time. We are from Boston. And we decided spend our anniversary at Balcon Dinner-Show Cabaret on Friday, May 3, 2013. Food, service and of cause show were outstanding. Everybody must to visit Le Balcon. Alex and Nelly.
