Dagli editor di OpenTable: This French fine-dining icon has dazzled Vancouverites since 1983. Legendary chef Michel Jacob passed the torch to his friend and Iron Chef America winner Rob Feenie in 2024, and Feenie still celebrates the restaurant's French origins while incorporating some of his West Coast roots. Expect Dover sole deboned tableside in an herb beurre blanc, steak tartare, and other classics served in an elegant white tablecloth dining room.

                                                      Great food experience for the price point of the fixed menu. Couldn't finish our meals. Have been there on other occasions and after the chef change and ordered a la carte and never disappointed. Except for not having the creme brule pate.

                                                      We went here for a fantastic Valentines day meal. It was rich, decadent, delicious and it was what we expected from Rob Feenie. The main course was tournedos rossini, it was so tender and the sauce was amazing. All the staff were attentive. Thank you for a memorable evening!

                                                      Outstanding dinner- delicious! Escargot to start were incredible- I had the veal Medallions with Morel Mushrooms- to die for- my wife had the beet salad to start- delightful- and then a perfectly Filet Milton steak! What a great meal with superb service! Thanking Manual! Will return for sure!

                                                      A sublime meal with appropriate wine pairings (thank you again, Jill). I can not fault any aspect of the restaurant; it’s one of my favourites. My one minor complaint was that the scent worn by one of the servers was a little too generously applied and was wafting towards us as she moved around.

                                                      Endive salad especially good with apples, roquefort and candied walnuts. Differences with the former Le Crocodile: menu is more limited, although duck and dover sole are there and apple tart and profiteroles with chocolate sauce, but no daily list of specials, no shoestring frites, no chocolate crocodiles at the end of meal, no crepes suzette or Grand Marnier souffle. But the latter items are costly and time consuming to prepare, from another era. Other restaurants don't have those either. Maybe in France--but maybe not even there. Very long wait to place dessert order and a long wait to receive it for sone reason.
