   C'était notre première visite au Filet et surement pas la dernière. Très belle expérience culinaire avec un personnel chaleureux et accueillant.

   Le Filet is often touted as one of Montreal's best seafood restaurants, but for a place with such a strong reputation, the menu is surprisingly limited—probably the most limited I’ve ever seen. There were maybe three seafood options in the mains, tops, which was disappointing. That said, the best part of the experience was the staff—warm, welcoming, and truly lovely. The ambiance was also a highlight, with a cozy yet upscale feel. We ended up only having starters and had to go elsewhere for dinner due to the lack of options. While it might be great for those who find something they love on the menu, I wouldn’t call it a must-visit for seafood lovers looking for variety.

   We had a great dinner. Enjoyed the food (great flavors) and the service was friendly and attentive. We will go back to try more menu options.
