The Manhattan was founded in March 2012. With its consistency at the service level, the warm welcome and especially the entertainment offered, it manages to make an unrivaled reputation in the nightlife in Quebec. Subsequently the owners came together to provide an experience out of the ordinary in North America. The concept of a terrace to over 15 feet in the air above the city sidewalks. You will see this concept at the corner of Des Forges and Notre Dame. Also with the passion for food and our experience in catering, The Manhattan decided to offer THE URBAN GASTROPUB, which will become a staple in Mauricie. It’s a pub restaurant. Great choices on the menu. Moderate prices and the view from the upstairs balcony was awesome. The spicy mayo is awesome!

Le lieu est très bien situé avec la vue sur le fleuve et au coin des 2 plus importantes rue du centre-ville. Cependant les légumes en accompagnement semblaient être surgelés et en altérait le goût. La bavette était un peu trop cuite malgré une commande médium-saignant. Personnel avenant malgré la quantité de clients.

On se demandait si le restaurant était au bord de la faillite. Pas très chaleureux avec le grand espace de la piste de danse, on a l'impression d'être dans un aréna. Plats très bon mais on n'a pas pu avoir de patates au four, il y en avait plus! à 17h30 pourtant nous étions que 4 clients dans le Resto qui venait à peine d'ouvrir! Quand à la carte des vins, elle n'était pas à date, il fallait que la serveuse vérifie la disponibilité de notre choix. Le menu sur internet ne concordait pas du tout avec celui sur place, il y avait à peine le tier des mets de celui en ligne!

Nous avons visité ce resto dans le cadre du GP3R et avons assisté aux feux d'artifices en direct de la belle terrasse du 2e au dessua du trafic. C'était super! Les serveurs/serveuses, bus boys, etc. ..et l'hôtesse font vraiment beaucoup d'efforts pour que nous soyons bien. Il y a eu un orage et notre serveuse Annie est demeurée souriante toute la soirée en transportant nos choses de dehors à dedans et dedans à dehors! Merci beaucoup à tout le personnel.

Good food & ambiance overshadowed by slow and rude service.... mon français n'est pas parfait mais ce n'est pas horrible non plus.

À noter que le seul point négatif était au niveau sonore et ce n'est aucunement en lien avec le restaurant: des travaux d'asphaltage avaient lieu mais c'était TRÈS bruyant et étrange que ça arrive un vendredi soir à cette heure... nous mangions sur la terrasse

restaurant tres chaleureux belle ambiance personnelle tres gentil pour le souper et accueillant tres bon c est pour cela que retourne chez vous pour souper et pour danser par contre apres 23 heure c est ordinaire pas pour la musique qui est tres bonne c est qu il y as beaucoup de gens qui arrivent vers 23 h tres chaud ou droguer qui te bousculent c est moin agreable pour nous c est dommage
