Le Parisien is the go-to neighborhood bistrot for Murray Hill, offering classic French food like steak frites, escargots and moules marinieres, paired with a well-edited list of french wines.
Chef Johnathan Masse brings his expert knowledge of comfort food, having most recently served as sous chef at the Waverly Inn, and also for Chef Jonathan Waxman of Barbuto. Along with owner Christian Merand, formerly of Jean-Claude in Soho, they have created a restaurant that focuses on serving consistently great traditional food with a lively and unmistakeably French atmosphere.

Also open daily for lunch and brunch on weekends.

                                              Great little spot for a classic and affordable French meal. Definitely recommend brunch! The steak sandwich and frites were fantastic. No frills interior but still cultivates a vibe with decor and a great playlist. Reminded me of Ratatouille in the best way. Will be back for dinner when we return to the area!

                                              The service, ambiance and food were superb and perfectly French Bistro. The food was remarkably delicious - everything was cooked beautifully, came out together hot. The staff was wonderful. If you enjoy the French Bistro experience, you will love this place.

                                              Creative, well prepared food at reasonable prices for NY. The restaurant had an intimate, French Bistro feel. Noise level was low to moderate allowing for easy conversation. Service was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

                                              Delicious food. Restaurant had a Cozy feel. Felt likeliness in an older small bistro in Paris. Was very nice. We’ll be back. Look forward to trying the weekend brunch some time too.
