    The service was great and entrees were delicious. The "basque" cheesecake did not live up to expectations. It was an ordinary cheesecake without the burnt top or the dreamy creaminess inside. The whipped cream and caramel and berry sauce did not improve it.

    This is an excellent pre theater choice. Great classic French food and they really know what they are doing in terms of service and timing. The cocktails are wonderful too.

    Have been coming here for 30 years, as my in-laws used to bring my husband and I before seeing a show. The food is still as good as ever and the service excellent. I had the endive salad with pear, pomegranate and blue cheese to start and the pork chop with apples for dinner. The pork chop was cooked to perfection and was surrounded by a tasty sauce. I had the dessert special, but should have stuck to the crème brulee, which is what I often have. The waiter was efficient and anticipated our needs. For $70, the pre-theater price fixed menu is still a bargain. Love this place and have been bringing friends here for years, none have been disappointed.

    We went to Le Rivage for my pre-theatre birthday dinner and it could not have been a better choice. The food was excellent— the Cassoulet which was a special of the evening was particularly incredible. The portions are very generous, especially for a French restaurant. The service was absolutely perfect. Our waiter, Benny, was charming, knowledgeable and extremely attentive. Definitely somewhere I will return whenever the opportunity presents itself.

    After being on an extended vacation it was great to be back here. The food and the service is always wonderful.

    Bueno mi experiencia en el restaurante estuvo bueno tienen un servicio impecable des de que entras hasta que te vas. El lugar está muy lindo lo único que no vi bien es que el mesero terminó su turno y no nos avisó y estuvimos esperando por el mesero hasta que nos dejaron saber pero de lo contrario bueno el restaurante.

    We were looking for a French restaurant near our hotel and this was perfect. Without looking at any reviews, we picked this one to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary. Le Rivage did not disappointment. The food, the service, the atmosphere was perfect. Our server Sunny was incredible - very attentive and took care of us for our 32nd wedding anniversary. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

    It was great! The food was awesome! Service wonderful and was not crowded or nosey. Parking across the street. I will Definately come back soon!

    Lovely cozy and warm on a cold NYnight. Food was superb as was our waiter Diego. Cod was outstanding, and I recommend the Chocolate Mousse

    A classic French restaurant featuring everyone’s favorites: French onion soup, beef Bourguignon, coq au vin, even escargot (which may not be one of your favorites). Service was friendly and attentive. And they got us out in plenty of time to walk to the theater.
