Référence culinaire Léa Linster, 64 ans, est, à ce jour, la seule femme au monde à avoir remporté le prestigieux concours gastronomique Bocuse d’Or. C’était en 1989, à peine sept ans après qu’elle soit revenue au pays pour reprendre l’affaire familiale à Frisange suite au décès de son père. Elle transforme le café-restaurant familial en restaurant gastronomique qui reçoit, en 1987, sa première étoile au Guide Michelin.
Récompensée plusieurs fois sur le plan international et très présente médiatiquement, elle est aussi à la tête de la boutique Delicatessen à Luxembourg-Ville, où on peut trouver ses madeleines et boire un petit café.
En 2017, Louis Linster son fils reprend le restaurant gastronomique de Frisange et obtien son propore étoile, il devient alors le plus jeune Chef étoilé du Luxembourg et décide de garder le nom du Restaurant Lea Linster.
Le Chef Louis Linster a été élu "Jeune Chef de l'année 2021" par Gault&Millau et sa femme Njomza est élu Hôtesse de l'année.

Der Service war hervorragend, die Qualität des Essens auch. Wir hatten uns allerdings auf eine eher traditionelle Küche à la Carte und "à la Lea Linster" gefreut und bekamen leider ein asiatisch inspiriertes Einheits-Menü, das uns nicht so richtig schmeckte. Wr haben das sehr bedauert!

The service was exceptional, and the food was nothing short of exquisite. However, the only downside was being seated near the exit and kitchen entrance, which resulted in constant foot traffic that diminished the sense of intimacy.

Très belle soirée et expérience gastronomique inoubliable. Le soucis du moindre détail au niveau de la présentation des plats et la justesse parfaite au niveau sensoriel ont ravis nos sens. L’accueil de l’épouse de Louis est parfait. Merci et Félicitations. Nous reviendrons, très bientôt c‘est sûr.
