Situated under a canopy of old growth trees on Lake Joyce, this natural gem serves seasonal fare from tidal Virginia. The menu reflects freshness with a distinct emphasis on showcasing the inherent colors and flavors of the ingredients. The cafe's bakery provides all its breads and deserts and is open for retail on the weekends.                         We really enjoyed our breakfast/brunch here this morning. Highly recommend for a fun place to go. It has a wonderful casual atmosphere, fantastic service and great food. Parking lot attendant helps you find a parking spot. Two of our friends recommended it and they were spot on. You have to try the duck hash, which is very tasty. We also had the crab quiche and the crabcake benedict. All winners!!

                        Awesome as usual!! Great food, wonderful servers. They are super accommodating with gluten sensitivities. (Some yummy GF bread would be great. If there is such a thing…)😊

                        Love, love,love Leaping Lizard. Been going here for years. So excited they are open for dinner again. Bill is brilliant in the kitchen and the staff are AMAZING! It can get loud so if you are noise sensitive just know this on the weekends. Shout out to Hella!
