Founded in 1995 by Owner, Chris Papageorge, Lefty's Lobster and Chowder House is Dallas' premier New England Seafood Restaurant. Our fish arrives fresh daily and our aged beef is hand-cut in house. Desserts are made on premise. Lefty's is a legend among locals who have been dining here for over twenty-five years.

Had the surf and turf. It was marked market price, and I didn’t ask, which is my fault. I’ll say this, it was a very large amount of food. But for $175, I would have expected better quality. The filet was huge but literally the toughest filet I’ve ever had. I literally didn’t know they could get that tough. It was, however, cooked perfectly medium rare as requested. The 20oz lobster tail was huge but was overcooked and also very tough. My son loved his Lefty’s pasta though. I’m the future I won’t order either the lobster or the steak due to both the quality and price. This was Del Frisco’s and Capitol Grill pricing without the quality.

Excellent. Small, cozy place. My first time but it was obvious that many of the customers were regulars. Service was outstanding, as was the food. You MUST have the soup that mixes the clam chowder and lobster bisque!

Lefty’s food is not as good as it has been in past years. The lobster was not sweet AT ALL. It didn’t really have much taste. The roasted potatoes were way overcooked and hard. The service was good but our party of 3 was the only other table with customers. Actually the best thing I had was the iced tea. That’s pretty sad.

Fantastic Place with fantastic food and service every time. Chris and Gus are always welcoming and make sure we're taken care of every time we come in.

Everything about our experience was ideal. Great food, wonderful service as always. The value and quality of the food is hard to find anywhere else. There were several entrées on the menu that I could have ordered - the appetizer and entrée were perfect.

I was there for my birthday dinner and it was a good choice. I ordered the Lefty’s Pasta, my brother ordered the Asiago Stuffed Shrimp and we shared calamari and everything was fresh and hot.

Been going there since they opened...they treat us like family...the food is consistently delicious and the service is always attentive!

What can I say... This place is a hidden gem! It's been around forever, but doesn't like to brag. I think the younger crowd is missing this because it's not "trendy". But I'll tell you... Best seafood in town!

Had a reservation for 6:30pm which meant nothing. Was told we would be seated in 10 minutes. It took 30.
