Our bright and breezy, renovated Burlington restaurant features an open dining space with a four-sided bar, high-top seating, and plush leather booth lounges. Two private event spaces can accommodate over 80 guests, making it ideal for gatherings. Located at The Burlington Mall, you can access our to-go counter directly from inside the mall or enter the main restaurant from our exterior entrance along the Burlington Mall Road parking lot.

    I had high expectations for Legal Sea Foods in Burlington, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The food was disappointingly bland, lacking the flavor and seasoning you’d expect from a restaurant of this caliber. On top of that, the service was extremely slow, which only added to the frustration. It felt like we were waiting far too long for everything, from placing our order to getting the food on the table. Overall, it was not the enjoyable dining experience I was hoping for. There’s definitely room for improvement in both the food and service.

    I had one of the lunch deals (chowder and shrimp roll) and my husband had chowder and a fish sandwich. And we HAD to finish with bon bons because, well, just because. Our server, Trina, was excellent as always. We sat at one of the high tops, which is different for us, and watched the Bruins win on the bar TV. All in all, it was a lovely meal.

    Hello, I recently visited your restaurant with a party of four and wanted to provide some feedback regarding our experience. While three of the meals were excellent, one of our party members had an issue with her meal. She ordered the lobster roll lunch special, which came with clam chowder and French fries. She did not want the fries and requested a side of vegetables instead, but unfortunately, the fries were still included. Additionally, she found that the lobster roll had a strong, unpleasant odor, which made it unappealing and difficult to eat. Although she chose not to address the issue at the time out of consideration for our guests, we felt it was important to bring this to your attention. We understand that mistakes happen, but we wanted to share this feedback in the hope that it can be addressed to ensure a better experience for future diners.     Visited for Birthday Dinner, we were sat in the walkway next to the host stand and beside the server stand. It took approximately 15 minutes for any service. After an hour of waiting for one round of drinks and an appetizer we paid and left as fast as we could. Managers and bussers were walking around cleaning empty tables and ignoring our empty water glasses and plates - wouldn’t recommend :)

    Our server was friendly and helpful. He had just the right balance of attentiveness and service while we enjoyed our conversation. The new renovations look great! The ambience is fun meets a bright sunny day in a relaxing atmosphere. The blues and neutral colors are appealing yet the servers and food do their best to steal the show! I highly recommend this Legal’s location!

    We had a great dinner. Everyone ordered something different, everyone was very happy. This has always been a great place for fish!

    Overall I gave the noise a moderate level as though we had a few loudmouths around our table. It's amazing when people just don't know how loud they are. Okay we started off with the Caesar salad which is very good. Perhaps could have used a little bit more Caesar dressing but I mean obviously they don't really want to dump on too much. Richard had the fish taco which is pretty good. For our mains I had the 1.75 lb lobster which was very good. They do know how to make a good baked stuffed lobster. Sometimes it can be dry because it's overcooked, this was fine. Richard had the fried scallops he was a little bit disappointed because theone thing the scallops are quite small they were probably size wise about the size of a quarter which is kind of tiny. They also are a little bit overdone as well. For the dessert we had the Boston cream pie. Now I'll admit we have not had Boston cream pie since before the pandemic before Berkowitz sold the company. It's obvious that this is a vendor sourced pie. It looks very similar to what we actually get (cuz we have a food business ourselves) it was okay but definitely nowhere near as good as they used to be. Overall it was a very good meal I think the main thing was probably the scallops. Myself I'm not a big fan of fried scallops because I've had them too many times where they were way overcooked. Not at legals, but at other places.

    Tess, our server, was friendly, attentive and very helpful on a busy night. The food, no surprise, was delicious. We all enjoyed our meals and dessert of key lime pie! Not to miss mentioning the always warm and fresh rolls with butter! You cannot go wrong. Our only downside, which is not just for Legal’s, is the price increases and sometimes changes to the menus eliminating much loved choices.
