Since 1980, we've been a staple in Boston's Park Square. Now relocated and renovated, our new spot at the corner of Arlington Street offers a wrap-around bar, open raw bar, and expansive lounge and dining areas. Our server was lovely, but they were clearly understaffed at 5pm on a Saturday. Bar was backed up so getting our drinks took almost 20 minutes. Then the beer we wanted wasn’t ready and had to be kegged. Food was pretty good, except for my lobster which was very overcooked and rubbery. Overall a very “meh” experience, which was certainly not reflected by the super high bill.

We won’t return. Unfortunately the quality of the food and service was very poor especially for the price. The presentation and quality is what you would expect from a fast food restaurant. French fries looked like they were from a bag from Costco and the Asian spiced green beans were dry and tasteless. My husbands bacon wrapped brussel sprouts came without the bacon. The service was very slow, took us and many others a long time to get our food. We were offered bread and water multiple times to make up for the very long wait for our drink order. When we arrived the hostess was condescending and told us we would have to wait for at least 10 minutes for a reservation that we made. When we told her we made a reservation she said,she kept talking over me and said “you’re gonna have to wait.” Lastly they seemed to be so disorganized that they brought the wrong food to our table 3 times. I would like a refund.

While the food tastes good we, again, had several issues with our meal. Wrong entree for one of my kids, missing sides, took >20 min to get eaters for the table etc.

We came for a late lunch, restaurant in a lull of activity, so we were comfortable taking our time, enjoying the quiet, never felt rushed,. A really epic 2 and 1/2 hour lunch. Wait staff was superb. Food was top notch!

Service was great! Food was so-so. If I’m being honest, nothing more than a feature item at red lobster. Nothing wrong with RL, but for the price point at Legal, I would expect more.
