Now relocated and renovated, our new spot at the corner of Arlington Street offers a wrap-around bar, open raw bar, and expansive lounge and dining areas. I had dinner at this restaurant, and overall, it was a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was served by a very polite waiter who made the experience even better. The service was incredibly fast, which I really appreciated. However, the place was a bit noisy, and I personally prefer quieter restaurants. But if you're looking for great food and quick service, this is a fantastic choice

Food was very good except for one dish that came out lukewarm. Lots of inter staff chatter and not enough guest focus. Training of staff is needed.

As a solo diner, I’ve received poor service at several restaurants. Tonight at Legal Seafood was different! The service was friendly and attentive. I was put at a bad table and ignored. I had a lobster roll and it was gigantic! And delicious, with lots of lobster. It was quite expensive but I enjoyed every bite!

Myshelle was our server and she was fantastic! Staff was super friendly and they served Guinness Zero (Yay!) My wife ordered the baked Haddock which was outstanding. I ordered the whole belly class which were a disappointment as they were left in the fryolator just a little too long. Chocolate Pudding Cake for dessert which was to die for however they had no coffee which I totally don't get. Overall it was good but not much to do to get it to great.

We were a party of six and we had an excellent server. She was there for everything we needed and then some. It is Christmas time and the restaurant failed to have any type of decorations so we could celebrate the holiday season with a little festive mode. The only thing that was missing was that I had put in for a birthday for two of the party guest, and that was overlooked by the OpenTable app.

We had tickets for a show and wanted to see the Common at night (Christmas) and always liked Legal Seafoods (kinda knew the former owner)... We arrived at the time of our reservation and were immediately taken aback by the 'cafeterira' brightness of the new location...we almost left without checking in... We were seated promptly by a very gracious hostess and within seconds had two glasses of water on the table...the wait staff member came soon thereafter and was very engaging and seemed to enjoy being there - not always the case in many, many places... When we asked about the restrooms we were told they were down a flight of stairs and at the end of hallway...we followed the directions we were given (our waitress actually walked with us to the elevator then went down the stairs and was waiting for us when we reached the lower level. The restrooms were in a hallway adjacent to several service rooms and had extra chairs and other restaurant-related items stored in the hallway...we made our way back to the elevator... it opened onto the kitchen where a staff member boarded the elevator and got us up to restaurant level. Dinner was excellent, service even better... The 'ambience' of the 'new' Legal Seafoods left us wishing we'd gone elsewhere...it's VERY BRIGHT and lacks the warmth and casual elegance we'd know from the previous locations (yes, we've been to more than one. I doubt we'll return but, see for yourself...it's seems designed for families and small groups of friends who want night out of the house...we had difficulty conversing in the booth we were seated in...not a good place for a relaxing dinner for two...

Food was good. Service sketchy. Lunch came in a timely fashion but dessert took almost 20 min to arrive. Restaurant was almost empty. It was key lime pie. Did they have to wait for it to thaw?

On a tuesday evening, my grown children and I went to the Legal Sea Foods Park Square while visiting Boston. The restaurant was very quiet - not many customers at all. Once we were greeted by our server, who seemed preoccupied with something else happening in the restaurant, we ordered appetizers and drinks right away. The food and drinks came early enough - but once we ordered entrees, we never saw our server until we had to ask the bar tender to find him. Someone else brought out the food - and I ordered the crabcake combo based on the waiter's suggestion - the entire meal was cold like it had been sitting for a while. The kids split a sushi roll and lobster roll which were fine. Because the waiter never returned to check on us, I asked the bartender to find him and fortunately the bartender offered to take my cold, bad food back to the kitchen and bring out a cup of soup. When the waiter dropped the check he let us know he was able to take the crab combo off the ticket - which shouldn't be a big deal since I didn't eat any of it! As frequent diners previously living in Boston, knowing the usual quality of the Legal Sea Foods restaurants, we should have known that the lackof customers and slow service, was an indication that this restaurant was not up to its normal quality and service. I would definitely avoid this particular location.

We were seated in a comfortable booth. Food and wine were excellent. Server got busy at times when we were looking for him but not too bad. Price seemed about right for this quality of restaurant. Very convenient to our hotel too!
