At Leña, the menu is guided by the most magical and mysterious ingredient in the kitchen: fire. Leña brings together the best elements of Spain’s favorite grill-focused restaurants, including the asadores and steakhouses of the Basque Country and Asturias. Nearly everything on the menu is cooked over embers, including vegetables, meats, and seafoods, with a focus on larger grilled cuts of meat, like suckling pig and lamb.

The porrón pitcher is a festive and communal way to serve a variety of Spanish beverages – hold it up and tip it towards you to drink a steady stream, then pass it along! Enjoy a bottomless porrón paired with our new brunch offerings throughout Little Spain. Brunch reservations are available Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Each reservation is 90-minutes, must include the purchase of an entree, and entire party participation is required. Remember – practice makes perfect! 🍻

I have been to La Lena before a few times and it was always amazing. Sadly, this time the service was SOOO poor. The waiter barely paid attention to us. The food came out in pieces rather than our full meal together. When we asked about the rest of the food since all they brought out was a burger for my husband and my artichoke side dish, they claimed the pork takes longer to cook. The pork was also ordered Medium and came out pretty rare. For the prices you are paying, the kitchen should know how to cook the order accordingly. The fries for my husband's side could have come out with his burger but those came after the pork. We noticed the same thing at the table next to us. It was just bizarre. While the food was delicious, the service was so bad which is why I gave the 2-star rating.

Our server, David helped have one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. The menu is amazing and the table side iberico is the unreal. We can not reccomend this place enough and especially David for guiding us through.

Lovely mid-sized restaurant at Little Spain Hudson Yards. Wonderful, harder to find dishes in one place. Everything was flavorful and served by an excellent, knowledgeable staff. Shout out to Adrian, a terrific server who makes the ordering process easy by suggesting the right balance of tapas of mains. Sangria is always delicious. Worth many repeat visits.
