We ate at Lennie's for their annual Canada meal--we love their special themed meals. As there were no exclusively plant-based options on the Canadian menu, my wife ordered the portobello sandwich off the regular menu while I opted for the Cheddar Ale soup followed by the Canadian salmon with maple mustard sauce and roasted vegetables. For dessert we split the Pouding Chomeur. The special menu will be gone in a couple of days, but there are plenty of excellent choices on the regular menu. Since Lennie's partners with Bloomington Brewing Company, there are also plenty of interesting beers to pair with your meal! And the service is just as good as the food and drink!

The O'Canada specials were delicious. We both had the salmon with roasted vegetables. It was a generous portion of both salmon and vegetables. It was very reasonably priced.

Outstanding service, food, and ambiance! We dined here with a group of 6 before an IU basketball game. Our server Ella was wonderful! Friendly, attentive, prompt...And the food (we all got sandwiches - stromboli, turkey, French dip, reuben) was incredible. Highly recommend!

I made this reservation for my husband’s birthday. We were seated upstairs and it was very noisy and the tables were cramped together. When I made the reservation, I noted my husbands allergies so the staff was aware ahead of time. The last time we were there, the waitress came over and immediately mentioned the allergies. This time, we had to mention it to her specifically and there was not a real sense of concern for getting things accurate. We waited about 30 min for food which was not bad considering it was New Year’s Eve. However once we were done, we had to wait quite a bit for her to come back. It wasn’t until that point that she offered more water, mentioned the birthday, etc. by that point I just wanted the check and to leave.

Hi Andrea, I'm really sorry to hear this visit was disappointing. I saw the note about your husbands allergies earlier in the week and our chef added a note on your reservation about what would be safe to eat. Unfortunately, we ended up busier than expected on NYE and a bit understaffed. I'll take the blame. Earlier in the day, I was thinking about your reservation and wanted to make sure the server had all the info needed to make your experience great. By the time your reservation came around, I was putting out fires and your reservation slipped my mind. I'm truly sorry and want you to know that food allergies are important to us. I hope you still had a good NYE. I hope you visit again, so we can show you a great experience.

Friendly and professional service. We had a reserved table that was ready when we arrived, waitress was accommodating and taking our family photo restaurant was busy, but our food arrived timely and was delicious waitress checked on us several times.

Great service. Waitress was very attentive to our needs. She’d check back to check on us. All our selections were very good. Our appetizers and main entrees were excellent.
