We warmly welcome you to Leonessa- an Italian-Inspired Kitchen & Bar on beautiful Route 6A in Yarmouth Port. Husband & Wife team, Chef Owner Diego Mota and Owner & General Manager Taylor Amara bring exceptional scratch made regional Italian cuisine and impeccable service to this iconic neighborhood. Combining the best of food and beverage of Italy along with the influences of its bordering neighbors coalesces into a dynamic, modern and elevated culinary experience. Chef Diego and Taylor's dream to pour their true love and passion for food, beverages, and hospitality is realized with every service. Reservations are for tables in each our four unique dining rooms while the Bar welcomes guests on a first come first serve basis. Please note that we do our level best to accommodate seating/area requests but they are not guaranteed. We also kindly ask that parties arrive together so that everyone can enjoy their time with us. We visit Massachusetts 2 times a year and it is a must to have dinner at Leonessa. Last nights Chefs special home made ravioli with shrimp was incredible. Our waiter Liam was also fantastic…. With so much to choose from (and I wanted one of each) he help me make great choices…. Thank you Liam. Looking forward to coming back in the fall.

This was our second visit. We invited friends to join us and we had an incredible meal. The food is elevated Italian and all of us agreed that this is a very special dining experience. The choices range from traditional dishes to some unique ones that we really enjoyed. The wine list is extensive with choices from around the world. The room is quite noisy but the food is so amazing that we didn't notice. Service was friendly and professional with a particularly good wine recommendation. Bravo!

Second visit was great and consistent with the first. Can’t wait to return! Austin is a great waiter, very professinal and considersate and always fun.

Second time here. Food excellent and delightfully different from the norm for Cape restaurants. Service is also top notch. Could easily become our weekly go to restaurant EXCEPT —- the level of noise, at least in the room where we have been seated on both occasions, was intense. We had to lean across the table to hear what we were saying to each other. Noise levels on our first visit were very bad, this time even worse. Although we love the food, due to the unacceptable noise level we’ve experienced on both of our visits, we are unlikely to return. How very sad indeed.

Hello and thank you for leaving your thoughts- while it is true we are a busy lively place, each of our unique dining areas are small and therefore lend itself to higher noise levels depending on the unpredictability of the guests that are in the room. We are also always looking at ways to improve the acoustics and we hope you consider another visit soon.

Cramped dining. Food was salty to my taste and not particularly flavorful. I was expecting "one of the best restaurants on the Cape" so my expectations were high. The spaghetti vongole usually has a sauce which you want to spoon up - I didn't. The Pasta Pomodoro flavor should pop, at least have some fresh basil garnish, at least offering fresh grated parmesan would be good. The entrees and food in general was actually OK - which was way below my expectations.

Outstanding food and outstanding service! Our choices included Arancini, Truffled Short Rib Risotto and Veal Milanese, all of which came out piping hot and were portioned generously. The kitchen is obviously skilled and knowledgeable, as all the food was savory and flavorful. The entire waitstaff (host, bar staff, servers and runners) was professional, attentive and friendly. The restaurant itself can be annoyingly loud at times, but that won't deter us from returning. Highly recommended. They won't disappoint.

My family enjoyed a wonderful meal on Friday, December 13th and we left thinking…this maybe the best restaurant in the Cape! Our meals (Veal, Pork Chop, Haddock and Chicken) were all prepared and presented beautifully! Service was great and we enjoyed some wine from a very diverse wine list. We can’t wait to return again for another great night!
