It is difficult to define exactly what l’Gueuleton means but the words ‘feast’, ‘food’, ‘family’, ‘friends’ and of course ‘wine’ help us to understand a concept that is inherently French. Since 2004 l’Gueuleton has served French Bistro cuisine at its finest. Combining quality Irish produce with French flair, l’Gueuleton offers a fantastic menu, matched with a perfectly balanced selection of wines.

Situated on the ground floor of the old Fade Street Tenements l’Gueuleton is a combination of exposed red brick walls, industrial beams, copper ceilings and wood floors.

                                          The food was delicious and their menu is great with few options. Lovely place for a date night. Service was good. Overall it is value for money.

                                          Over the last few weeks I’ve visited twice. Staff are among the best in Dublin. Breads and tapenade are excellent and they really know how to look after their customers. I had crab 🦀 which was superb to start and I had the sea bass and I don’t like risotto so they swapped it for mash and rocket salad and no drama. I cannot recommend it highly enough. My husband had the steak and frites and it was excellent and he raved about the croquettes. Sunday evenings here have a lovely relaxed vibe and Saturday night it’s very lively and turns into a parttayyy after you finish your meal. Cocktails top drawer too. Well done L’Gueleton 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌👍👍👍

                                          A great restaurant. Warm greeting at the door, all the dishes were outstanding, including a great lamb shank. Also the best brown bread i have ever had.

                                          I returned to this restaurant after many years and found it as good as ever. Simple menu of good food and French cooking. Attentive and professional service. I particularly recommend the onion soup. It's a starter but would make a rich, beautiful meal in itself.

                                          We had a really enjoyable night here on Saturday. Food was excellent (one of the sides was a little cold but still very nice). Staff were excellent and very attentive. Highly recommended

                                          Loved it. Was recommended by a friend. A simple but lovely menu. Delicious twists on classics. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. Location is great and a lovely ambiance. Would be sure to visit again is we find ourselves back in Dublin. Highly recommend.
