Liberty Kitchen & Oysterette (LKRO) prides itself in it’s Oyster Bar. The multiple use seating at and around the Oysterette is inviting and friendly. The huge oyster, fresh seafood and whole fish display showcases seasonality and the vastness of the seafood offerings at LKRO. A traditional Japanese Robata Grill and a vertical 'Trompo' Grill are part of the Oysterette’s flexibility in a small space making the 'mini-kitchen' capable of producing freshly shucked oysters, grilled oysters, sushi, seafood towers and fresh carved tacos.

Moving into the main kitchen, the menu is just as wide and deep with a variety of local and regional seafood dishes and local Texas Beef. Our desire, as always, is to have a little something delicious for everyone and a menu for every palate as well as daily and weekly special features inspired by the bounty of available produce, meats and seafood in the Gulf Coast and beyond.

This is. It our first experience with liberty kitchen. Today on our visit the main complaint would be the service. I think it was due to not enough staff, but it really decreased the enjoyment of the evening. Also tried the 16 slice tuna mignon and will not get it again, i was expecting a lot of flavor but had to ultimately add the liberty sauce for. My daughter’s burger to add flavor. We will see when we go back …… it won’t be for awhile.

The experience was perfect. The menu is creative and the food is delicious. We all were pleased with our meal choice. The wait staff is very attentive and actively checked on us during our visit. We will be returning.

We ate early at Liberty kitchen so it was reasonably quiet. Usually I would order the gumbo which can suffice as a meal, but this time I ordered a tuna poke that was deconstructed with a lot of white rice occupying the center of the plate. It was good and filling, but nothing to write home about. Stick with their gumbo.

Love Liberty Kitchen but was a bit shocked by the price of the "off the menu" seafood guacamole appetizer. It was very tasty but the price was a bit steep!

My group was celebrating the Christmas Holiday. We love Liberty Kitchen. We had a wonderful, attentive server, Karen. She made sure we had everything we needed. Cocktails, appetizers, main course. All served in a timely manner. Great experience. We highly recommend Liberty Kitchen.

We used to love frequenting this place. Food and drinks seem to take longer and longer to receive and doesn’t quite taste as good as it used to.

We could have asked, but didn’t… however, it just seems when the waiter is reading off the specials for the day, it would have been courteous to at least let us know the special we order was priced at $68 .. well over twice most other items on the menu.

Our server Jason was very nice and attentive. All of his recommendations were amazing and the food was so tastey. The Christmas decorations were very festive!

I have to give this place a 5 star, the staff was great, attentive, and very friendly. The food was outstanding all the way from the appetizer through the main course. It was a quiet which was nice for a first date. It was a little pricey walked out at over $300 but it was worth it for the experience.
