Lilac is a modern Mediterranean restaurant helmed by Michelin-starred chef and California native, John Fraser. Lilac exclusively offers a 4-course prix fixe menu featuring signature elements of Chef Fraser's mastery of Mediterranean cuisine explored through the lens of Floridian coastal produce. Open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, the dining room’s walnut flooring and the warm glow from the pendant globes create an elevated, convivial space focused around an eight-seat Christian Liaigre chef’s counter in sandblasted walnut and a lively open kitchen. Taking its cues from Fraser’s Greek heritage and his admiration of Turkish cuisine, Lilac’s balanced menu is a celebration of the chef’s vegetable-forward philosophy using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.

Very nice restaurant and the service was excellent but the food was subpar. Not quite the "experience" we expected from the description. Very much lacking taste. The seating is also quite disappointing. One of us faced the back of the room/ back wall the entire time with our back to the flow of the room, kitchen and others. It felt very isolated and clossterphobic They should rearrange the seating.

Our experience at Lilac was truly exceptional! It was our first Christmas in Tampa, made even more meaningful as we celebrated my parents’ 45th anniversary. The team went above and beyond by creating a stunning dessert for them, making the evening even more memorable. Thank you for everything!

Food and service was super and this place is on my short list. We were seated by the bar and did not get the true Lilac Christmas Eve experience.

We went for their Christmas Eve dinner. This was an amazing meal. One of the best I have ever had. From the hor d'oeuvres to the appetizers and then the salmon, duck, rabbit and langoustine. Then topped off by an amazing dessert. Of course, accompanied by a delicious lemon drop martini. The atmosphere was festive, and the wait staff missed nothing. Lilac is definitely on our list of favorite restaurants. Can't wait to go back. KUDOS!

We’re had the best experience we could have ever asked for. We were treated well, everyone was conversationalists. The food was fantastic, perfection. And worth every penny. Top rated.

Everything from the service and food was absolutely amazing! First time there and it won’t be the last. Each course during the four course experience couldn’t have been more perfect.
