Our historic location is an amazing spot to unwind and dine on our patio (weather permitting) with our artfully prepared meals, including delicious vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.                                           I had left the doctor’s office and needed cheering up and I remembered the Taft Museum Café called “Lindner family café” which I found was difficult to fine on OPENTABLE. I made a reservation for noon this Monday (Sunday and Monday the museum is free admission) and the light coming into the café from the garden was beautiful and soul lifting. I sat by a large window streaming beautiful light on flowers sitting on a tablecloth. I was having a 19th century experience which museums should give us. The service was charming and helpful. I order an egg frittata and glass of white wine. However, I am not sure the title on the menu. I cook for my wife Sunday mornings, so I did note to the service that the dish was delicious. I described to her patient or interested ears how the dish was delicious and detailed how I thought the disk was constructed. To my surprise when the cultured service returned with the check, she brought with her the chef construction of the dish and some secrets with her for me. The chef is excellent and thoughtful, and I will try to remake the dish for my love this Sunday. I rate the experience 100%. For dessert I visited the Rayburn portrait of Jane Fraser Tytler. The receipt is not the experience of the food or the environment. If I will include a photograph of the painting with the review. Kevin Booher

                                          We had lunch at the cafe prior to one of the Jazz series. The cafe is just delightful inside the museum. Our waitress was wonderful, very attentive and friendly while the food was terrific in both taste and presentation. A very enjoyable experience and we will be back

                                          Always a pleasure to visit the Taft for the fine special exhibits and permanent collections. The cafe is a civilized way to prolong the experience.

                                          Food was outstanding. Very fresh. Great quality. Delicious. Server was very friendly. A bit slow during busy lunch hour. Very nice lunch and enhanced our museum experience.
