We enjoyed lunch on Saturday, November 30th. We were seated promptly, ordered drinks and food relatively quickly. Food was excellent. The server follow-up after the food was served was quite slow. We waited a long time to get our server (or any workers) attention to get our bill.

We dined at Local on North for Thanksgiving Day. The special meal was a full buffet for $59 per adult, we had 3 of us. We were seated immediately, the restaurant was pretty full but not crowded. Service was very good. The buffet included salad and bread (cornbread was great), turkey & dressing (good), salmon (outstanding), and ham (also good). Sides included mash potatoes and gravy (average), Brussel sprouts (very good), and a peppery sweet potato side that I loved, among some other things that I did not sample. Dessert options and flavors were average. The ambiance wasn't great. Nothing special for the holiday, music piped in above was secular pop culture, but not holiday tunes. Most disappointing was being charged nearly $12 for 2 cups of coffee and 2 glasses of very weak ice tea. For nearly $60 a person I would think these non-alcohol drinks would be included. Overall we got what was expected, a thanksgiving meal where, for a buffet, was pretty tasty. There were several ways however where they could have done more, and improved out chances of returning.

Overall the buffet was good. Disappointed that the ham was dry, mussels cold and no apple dessert.

It was a great alternative for us (2 retired people with no family in the area) from shopping, preparing, cooking, and cleaning for a big meal for ourselves. Thanks, Local on North!

They had a buffet with a nice variety and was well tended by staff to replenish as needed. All was delicious!

Very good food and service, however, sat in lower level. Was like having a nice dinner in the basement. Not again.

The GOAT cheese croquettes are amazing! My hubs was disappointed with the French onion soup. It was not the traditional recipe dripping with melted cheese. We share the chicken entree. The chicken was very tender however the sauce was a little too heavy on the salt for my taste. The ambience there is great. We left just before the live music started.

Outstanding, never disappoints. We have been multiple times, the service, food and atmosphere is amazing. Our favorite Chrerokee Co resturaunt!

Went for Sunday brunch. Had the Huevos Rancheros and my husband had the breakfast tacos. All very good and flavorful. Server was attentive as well. Always know food will be good there.
