One of LA’s best Italian restaurants, Locanda Veneta aims to transport you to Venice, Italy. Where the freshest and often deceptively simplest ingredients are combined and cooked into art. The cozy room, often dotted with celebs, is elegant but there’s nothing fussy about the menu. Here you’ll find favorites such as a fresh-vegetable minestrone; wild mushroom risotto; and spinach and ricotta cheese gnocchi. Garlic, fresh herbs and olive oil dress many of the pasta, meat and fish dishes; and the veal scaloppini gets a different preparation every night. When an Italian spot is as classic as this, how can you skip a dessert of tiramisu? Our extensive wine list complements your meal, with selections mainly from Italy, France and California.

Locanda is always warm and welcoming. Couple with what, I believe, is the best Italian food in LA and you really have something. It's like a night out in Milan.

I love this restaurant and really fell short on Valentine’s Day. It was a sad menu and it just really fell short drastically. I will go there again but it will not be an evening like this

Unfortunately food was well under what we expected, the Carbonara was sweet and make with heavy cream instead of eggs and cheese, the lasagne certainly didn’t feel like it was made fresh!

Always a treat and a pleasure. Preparations are on point and specials are varied and delicious. Rabbit was perfect. Reminded me of my grandmothers dish. Lovely.
