We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Lollo and we’re made to feel extra special by the restaurant team. We had complimentary glasses of champagne and a shared dessert which were lovely touches. The food was very good, I had tortellini and my husband had the pork chops. As sides, we had roasted beetroot and carrots. All of our dishes were very tasty. We also had cocktails which were great! We would recommend Lollo for an evening of great food and drinks, and we’ll be back in the future!

Food was good however service could have better as it was a mixed bag from different servers. Initial greeting was great and warm. We ordered our food and said we were going to share everything between us, food came and we had no cutlery or share plates, we asked for share plates and server gave us plates only and didn't notice that we didn't have cutlery however we noticed she could have been new but at a restaurant you would think not having cutlery when food to served is standard. We ordered a penfolds bin 389 which wasn't decanted and poured directly in our glass which we thought was odd but didn't ask and at the end of the bottle an experienced server came around and said we should have decanted that. We dinned early in the night so it wasn't super busy but to not have any cutlery and not having a wine expert serving wine was a little disappointing. The ambience and service was mixed bag but consistency throughout would have made the night a better experience. Overall good but not exceptional. Would go back for the food.

Really bad experience with my dinner tonight. One of the staff in black uniform pour the drink and made a mess ,the ciders drink are all over the table, and she just said sorry and left:/ not willing to clean up the table at all! What’s the point saying sorry???

Beautiful…. terrific service with helpful waitstaff, drink waiter super knowledgeable, food…. OMG gorgeous. A wonderful find in the W Melbourne hotel.
