Welcome to Loloan Lobby Bar, a place of calm and refuge in uptown Waterloo. This considered design harkens back to days of elegance, grace and value. We offer classic, timeless cocktails and lobby bar inspired South East Asian cuisine in an intimate and cozy setting. Guests can also experience the luxurious, private atmosphere of the Map Room, located upstairs of the main dining area. Our esteemed chefs will create a menu tailored to individual tastes, as our world-class sommelier pairs each dish with the appropriate wine, spirit, beer or cider. Menus are flexible and can be created in a number of courses, styles and flavours for up to eight guests.

Aside from having to pour our own wine and the waitress bumping the table each time they walked pasted, I feel the experience was well worth the price. I would recommend to anyone... give it a try.

A unique fusion of foods from five countries in SE Asia, including Thailand, Vietnam and Laos. I have never enjoyed a restaurant as much as the Loloan Lobby Bar. I needed four-and-a-half hours to enjoy my New Year's Eve dinner. The six courses included lobster, quail and venison. A world class place.

My service was great and help me feel a little better et about have to see my a company that night. I would recommend it again. Maybe not with the company I went with.

we were excited to go to Loloan as we had been notifies that we had won a beautiful bottle of wine with dinner! The entire evening was perfect in its execution of service, hospitality, wine service and of course culinary. Jake looked after us as if we were family, and took care of every need and request, He was constantly surveying the table in case of any questions or requests. Outstanding! The innovative menu items as well as the flavor combinations made the eyeing even more special. If you are looking for the utmost in quality, service and atmosphere for an evening out, or a professionally mixed cocktail, there is no where else in KW to go. Five Stars!

I really like the ambience of Loloan and the food is very good for Waterloo restaurants. We’ve been before and had great service. Unfortunately our server on Monday was not pleasant. Sam just seemed like she didn’t want to be there and didn’t really want to be helpful. She offered and did what she was supposed to do, but she wasn’t pleasant or welcoming. We left without dessert because we’d had enough of dealing with our server. We’d also urge Loloan to change the chopsticks after each course (if used). I’m sure our servers in the past have done this, but Sam didn’t. It just puts the restaurant in a higher service category if you don’t leave dirty chopsticks on the table. It would match the level of the décor, which is fantastic! Also, cushions would make the banquets much more comfortable.

Exquisite food and inspiring presentation. Service is impeccable. Ambiance is comfortable, welcoming. Simply a perfect experience, and you have to understand we're hard to please. This was our second experience at Loloan, and we would absolutely go again.
