The service was friendly and welcoming. The entrees (prawns and fish cakes) were tasty, great sharing starter. Main chosen was a platter selection of meats and sauces, it was a good protein option but lacking in presentation. Noodles were a complete disappointment. It was an experience but I will not be returning.

Food is good but the dining experience wanting. It is Thai street food at Thai street ambience but at fine dining prices. Service staff were lovely but seemed to be harried. Too eager to clear dishes even though we had not finished. Some of us even had sauces spilled on us. I expect this to happen if we're truly hawker dining but Mr Thompson not what we were expecting at those prices. Veggie choices also very limited. Music was way too loud and the Group could not enjoy idle chatter. Maybe this was a tactic to get us to eat and scoot. Politely refused dessert and enjoyed a quiet cuppa and cake at Koko Black after.

Fabulous birthday meal. Delicious set menu. The coconut cake is to die for!

Excellent service: the first person to arrive found the table not yet ready, but was seated at the bar and offered a cocktail (which was subsequently on the house), orders were taken promptly, questions about the menu answered immediately, ingredient substitutions offered, and then we were allowed to split the bill, no problems! Food was amazing: good range of dishes for non-meat eaters and gluten intolerant diners, and excellent and authentic flavour balance without being drowned in chilli. Great cocktail list, bonus points for cocktails for those not wanting too much alcohol. Vibe: energetic, buzzing, lively, a bit on the loud side if you're after quiet conversation.

I've been wanting to try Long Chim for a long time and it didn't disappoint my very high expectations. The service was prompt and friendly, the food delivered quickly and cocktails were strong! We shared a green curry, rice and wagu beef salad. When the dishes came out we thought they were small servings, yet they were so tasty and just the right amount to feel comfortably satisfied. We will definitely be back again, love the atmosphere and artwork around Long Chim.

Great moody romantic but cool vibe. Authentic thai food and great service. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu!!

Loved the authentic yet innovative cuisine. Loved the decor. Loved the vibe. Only one complain for the night. On arrival, not when I made the booking, I was advised that we only had 1.5 hours for our meal as the table was rebooked then. I would not have booked on this condition. As it came to pass our table was not required but we had already rushed our meal.

I was actually very disappointed with my second visit to Long Chims. After the first time I thought it would be a fantastic experience, however after being told we were on a strict 2 hour time limit, we were kept waiting 30 minutes before even being offered water or a menu. The food was great but the service not so good. I will not be returning.
