This place is horrible. Honestly.
I thought prior reviews were maybe a one-off but we went for the NYE special and there was zero atmosphere. No mood lighting. People walking off the street in jeans as we were sat at a table in literally the center of the room. It felt like we were on display as we were the only people eating like, "see, people eat here!"
The salads were awful and I would say they were bland if they hadnt been so bitter because of the raw cabbage. I'm fairly certain mine had dirt in it because there was a weird tasteless texture that felt gritty, like dirt. Honestly, I'm going to say with 99.9% positivity it was dirt. We didn't finish either salad and probably took 4 bites max between the two of us.
My husband's entree included a total of THREE (3) sea scallops and the sauce on the ratatouille tasted like Kroger-brand Ragu. It had zero flavor, and I would actually put money on the table betting it came from a jar.
The dessert chocolate cake was over-mixed, flavorless, and too dense to actually eat more than a bite.
No drinks were included despite an advertisement that bubbly would be included. For $77/plate this was the worst experience we ever had dining out in Macon.
To make the night worse, it was not advertised anywhere that there was a 24% holiday gratuity tax. This was deceptive pricing/hidden fees at its finest. The manager promptly removed the charge when my husband pointed out the hidden fee, which is considered a crime in California.
Loom was a horrible experience. I can say with 100% positivity I will never dine here again. $220 later, and we left hungry.
