The table wasn’t ready when we arrived at 8:30, however we were accommodated at the bar while we waited. Dinner was amazing. We were the only ones left, so I believe the kitchen was ready for our dessert order. We ended up not having dessert because of the hour. I think my only complaints feeling a bit rushed at the end.

We went because the New York Times noted it was one of the top 50 restaurants in America. The Times was spot on! Do not miss the mussels and clams.

We were lucky enough to snag a table at the chef’s counter which is really a curved bar. We had an excellent experience with Ivan recommending half pours with each course. All the food was stellar, especially the sturgeon and duck confit. Don’t miss the orange cake. We love this place!

The service was spectacular and the location is really fun. Not too ADA accessible, but they make that clear. 3/4 meals were great (sturgeon, seafood entrees) but the duck was really bland and had an off texture. Overall a really good experience but a little off compared to our prior visit. Good value though!

Love the way this spot is somewhat a hidden jewel. We sat at the bar and the fun and knowledgeable service was tops. That chicken liver mousse pate was like butter;smooth and perfectly seasoned. I want more! Next we had the sturgeon, cauliflower and gnocchi. All was superb. I want to go back next week. Not a thing was less than 5 stars.
