Friendly, neighbourhood brasserie-style Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant serving modern European cuisine with seasonal Irish produce, a boutique wine list, and signature cocktails.

Our bar, "Upstairs at Lottie's," is open at the weekend for a perfect pre-dinner cocktail or to relax on comfortable couches after dinner. Our ground-floor terrace has outdoor dining areas and private rooms available for hire. Head Chef Tudorel Ostache has created some wonderful signature dishes, and on Sundays, Lottie's is the perfect place to enjoy family lunch, including our roast specials throughout the year.
We look forward to welcoming you to Lottie's and are delighted to be awarded a Diner's Choice award for 2024 and to feature in the Irish Times 100 Best Restaurants in Ireland, 2023 & 2024.

                                        We were a party of three - my hubby, daughter and I for NYE. We went to Lotties last year for NYE (2023) and really enjoyed it. I was a bit disappointed with NYE this year. Positives - the vegetarian menu which my daughter had was really good - she enjoyed the courses greatly, particularly the pumpkin risotto and the gnocchi. The cherry dessert was delicious and the fish course was very tasty. Duck ham amusement bouche not a success for me - needed a bit of oomph - a nice dressing would have transformed it. The beef main was very dull - and the accompanying potato dumpling was stodgy. I know doing a set menu is challenging but I was a bit underwhelmed by the meal. Not sure I’ll be booking for NYE 2025! Disappointing as I normally love the food in Lotties.

                                        Excellent food but the pace of service left something to be desired. I felt that we were constantly having to flag down our server to get another cocktail or ask a question about the menu. The final straw was when we had to flag someone down to pay after we had requested the check and it was sitting on our table for 10+ minutes. Maybe this was an outlier experience but I would have expected more from a Michelin restaurant.

                                        Excellent Christmas Eve family lunch. The food was just delicious. Lovely ambience. Lottie’s is a terrific asset to the area.

                                        Overall the experience at Lottie’s was that staff was friendly albeit not necessarily super knowledgeable. Dishes were dropped at the table a bit brutishly and no introduction was given to the dish we were having (this was a set menu) other than naming the principal ingredient. While the staff generally was kind and friendly, it often seemed like the priority was not given to providing any level of service beyond the bare minimum.

                                        Very friendly staff. Delicious food, particularly the salmon (cooked to perfection!) and the clafoutis. Beautiful ambience!

                                        The main course, sides, and desserts were exceptional. We went for the Christmas menu which had a lot more food than I expected to get but they were all truly so so tasty. We got a bottle of wine which was also outstanding. I give it 4 stars (4.5 which I can’t choose on here) only as the starters were slightly below the benchmark set by the rest of the meal but these were also pretty good. We had a great time and experience overall.

                                        We arrived early for our booking and had drinks in the stylish upstairs bar before being brought to our table in the buzzing main restaurant area. We had the Christmas set menu, which had interesting and original mouth-watering fish, meat and vegetarian choices, including venison (which we chose), and thankfully not a turkey or ham in sight. The staff were very welcoming, and the service was speedy, and professional. This is a bright, sophisticated, modern restaurant, with excellent food and a great atmosphere. A great choice for date night or dinner with a group of friends. Highly recommended.

                                        It was my husbands surprise 40th. The food was excellent but what really made our night was the service. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful before and after the event.
