All four of us that visited the restaurant said that their dinners were very good, each of us having a different selection. Our server did an excellent job taking our orders and checking on our meals as we progressed with the dinner.

One of the best meals my wife and I have had in a long time. Service was fantastic as well. I had the Filet Special which was cooked to perfection and my wife had the Red Fish which was also delicious. My only critique would be that they could have scrubbed the outside of the oysters a little better, but they were still delicious. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Lou Lou on Market is a fantastic dining experience! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere created a nice setting for a lunch meeting. The service was exceptional, attentive, friendly, and professional. I look forward to returning.

Didn’t get to experience the restaurant because they were closed without any notice in advance

Hey Sydney, Unfortunately there was an unusually large snowstorm in the area the night before you were supposed to dine with us. For the safety of both staff and guests, many businesses in the city reluctantly had to close for part or all of the day. It's a very tough decision to make, and not one that we take lightly, as we never want to have to turn away guests - closing the restaurant for weather related disasters is always a last resort. We called the few reservations scheduled that day to let them know we would be closed for lunch and posted that information to our website and all of our social media accounts. Hopefully you can join us at some point in the future, as we're positive you'll love the experience!

We made reservations at 7:30 because one of my daughters is an ER nurse and she didn’t get off until 7. We were celebrating a birthday and our last dinner as a family for a couple of months. We were seated immediately when we came in and someone came and poured us water. We were sat at a table that was in the entry way and every time someone went in and out the front door the cold wind would hit you. There were plenty of other tables we could have been sat at. We decided that when our server came we were going to ask if it was possible to move to another table. We waited over 15 minutes and not one person came to our table. We saw at least 4 servers/food runners walk by us multiple times and not one stopped at our table. As I said we were celebrating a birthday and it was our last dinner as a family before my youngest daughter headed back to school. We won’t see her again for several months. We ended up just walking out and walked down to Bar Vetti and they happily seated and served us. We have eaten many times at the St. Mathew’s location and have never had this issue. We will continue to go to that location but we will never go back to the location downtown.

A terrific local experience where the attention to detail is impressive. All of the choices we ordered from the menu were excellent. We will definitely go again.

Great first time at Lou Lou on Market. Had a reservation and was seated immediately. Food was beyond good and service was spot on. Highly recommend.

The mussels were good but had sand in them. The accompanying focaccia was stale (why no French bread?) It’s too bad because the sauce was delicious. The jambalaya was tasty over all and had plenty of shrimp but just a little bit of sausage and exactly two small bite-size pieces of chicken (like the size of a lozenge).

Everything from start to finish was excellent. We had a group of 15 on NYE. Everyone agreed it was an excellent experience.
